I got one through Gregory, shipped by Mutoh next day for $325.00. But that was a while ago. all the parts in the maintenance station can be replaced individually. I had to get one because the pump leaked and "melted" the only non solvent gear in the maintenance that is not replaceable.
That is the speed posted. What is interesting is the 24", 39" and 51" width. I would believe they are looking at the vacuum Mutoh and the others made by discontinuing smaller printers. Mimaki had a 30" printer they just dropped not too long ago.
By soaking the heads you can wick a color into another damper. You can also cross contaminate when doing cleanings if one cartridge is very low and the others are not. This has happened to mine once. To clean a damper you can print a color box of that color. Or with a syringe, slowly draw ink...
If you print with eco solvernt inks soak the heads with cleaning fluid. If it a pigment printer I would try the appropriate solvent, denatured alcohol or what ever you use for doing head washes. Then I would draw ink from the cap station with a syringe from each cap line to insure ink flow.
"The company I bought it from refused to sell me parts to fix it or service it so I had to find another company to get the parts from."
"a big thanks to Gregory"
What company wouldn't sell you parts.
You can't go wrong using Gregory. They are a very good company to do business with.
