Take a look at the rendering intents on both your profiles and make sure they are the same. When you loaded the new profile it may have had a different setting in this regard. We us 0 100 100 0 and get good results.
You need to prep the wall by lightly scrubbing with a scrub pad. Then wipe everything down with isopropyl alcohol. SGIA did some pretty good testing on all different types of paint. This is the method they came up with. Also here is a link to the webinar that they did on it. It is very...
We loose quotes from time to time and this is usually the culprit. Either this or a guy at home only quoting for material and markup because he will sit at home and weed and doesn't care about time spent.
Uhhh..................
What are you getting into business to do? I'm done with this thread. You should just find jobs and outsource them to somebody who does know what they want to do. Buy a Epson Artisan 1340 inkjet printer for your invoices and be done.
Only consumable parts I believe are through grimco. I believe actual printer parts you need to buy through HP. Or find someone that ordered extra or something online.
UV uses lights to cure. The l360 is a latex machine and uses heaters to cure. The heaters do go out but at what time I have no idea. I have only seen one guy have to change a heater on his L25500 1st generation latex. and that was after a couple years of use. He was also running the printer...
Do the HP machines need 220?
Yes all the HP latex machines require 2-220V plugs.
Run really really hot?
Yes and No. The 25500 and 26500 ran very hot with two heaters. A drying and a curing. The No is on the new machines the L360 while it still gets hot and puts off a lot of heat it does...
I believe this what he meant by FP It's Microsoft front page. Which is a HTML website editor/ maker. It has a plug in for creating a watermark. Basically it's just a regular watermark but when you upload thru front page it will keep the watermark in a designated area of your screen no matter...
Email me I will send you the technician manual for your machine. It will tell you what to look for on the test prints, as well as everything about your machine. it's the manual the HP techs take out to fix a machine. erich@aconezone.com
I haven't used front page so I don't know what the end outcome will be. But if your in photoshop and you go to file you can save for web. this gives you an option for transparency. Maybe you could do it here. You probably won't know if you got it right till he tries to load it to his website...
HP but I use HP so I say HP. I have had the L26500 and now we have the L360. I loved the L26500 even with it's flaws. The L360 has taken just about all the problems away for the most part. If you are going to run the printer every couple days I would stay away from solvent printers. The...
That VHB tape won't stick for long to the painted plywood. I will reiterate again, make sure you put some sort of screwed in aluminum panel on the wood first and then tape the sign to that.
Alcohol and turn them manually. There is no maint process for cleaning them. They are on the bottom though so it shouldn't be that big of an issue unless you do double sided prints. I would think the top pinch rollers would be more of an issue but those are replaceable.
When you bring back to the target does it recheck all the reg. marks.? If so that is weird. Seems like it would be a problem with software. Can you set it up so you do one job as a contour and then send another job as a contour. I know you say you send them separate but can you do it...
