Most of the issues with color are your RIP. I would say you can't get any better color out of a Value Jet or a Roland. The Falcons tend to band more than value jet because of the weaving technology. Most of the issues are profiles in the Rips. I do not band on my mutoh .
I have found that not using color correction in RIP will make problems like that go away for me. I use profiles in Photoshop and print files directly from that.
Have a Mutoh Junior 38. The print head went out of adjustment. I manually adjusted it to the point of being off about 1/128 off side to side. How do you get this set closer in the software in the printer?

Take your print head away from the capping station and look at the cap. The cap should not be saturated or puddling , it should be stained and wet but no excess ink on the top of the capping station.
First go in and change your ink limits to say 80 to start on all colors , then when it prints the right amount of ink check your profiles and see if you can correct your color issues.
