id still be careful pulling up phototex/fabritac/walltux off of painted drywall tho. i once, like an idiot showing off new stuff, slapped it on a 3 month old painted drywall and proceded to be like "dude check this out no residue!". well, no paint/drywall either. i ripped it off yanked a fair...
ive used 99% iso with some success, but ive found with solvent/eco-sol that as long as there is a small amount of time to bite the material, it is very tough to not leave any ghosting of the overspray or original print.
cool thanks. i think my mist sponge in there has started to break apart so that may be what is causing my problem. hopefully i can figure it out so it drains a bit better. still draining no problem, just want to clear those lines.
anyone have any good tips for cleaning out some gunked up ink in our waste ink receptacle under the wipers in an xf640? right now im just using flush to break it up and hopefully get it to drain. any tips or tricks to speed this up would be much appreciated. thanks all!
the only thing ive found that works is when you push enough volume, you can leverage rates against each other. just a lot of negotiating. were primarily web based so 95% of our stuff is shipped and because were shipping 3 to 6 (stacked 4ft high) pallets worth of boxes each day between fedex...
yeahhh defs what he said. or you could go hard on the 1500 depending on volume and space in your shop. we got one last year and i love it. if not, 560 and 570 are the way to go. my 560 is a work horse. if you do alot of long runs then youd want the 570 with bulk ink. but either way, they are...
crossing my fingies on this one. having the exact same issue. 4x empty/fill right now. hoping this works. i cant afford to be down like this. its killing me.
got a whole bunch of lx610 heads and ink if anyone wanted to pick some up. priced to move! we upgraded a few months back and have been eager to get it out of here. DM me for details!
yeah. latex tolerances can go all over the place especially due to the double heating. ive seen stretches of about an inch or more on very long runs on my 560. my 1500 is much closer. have done 30 foot runs that are dead on but once again its hit or miss everytime.
you can try to empty then fill the printhead thru the service menu. could be air trapped. anything happen that preceded the issue? head strike? run a bag of ink dry?
honestly inline wheels may be perfect for this. throw a pair of bearings in the wheel, affix it to a paint roller and boom. just need to find the right profile wheel.
could use some electrical conduit wrapped in like foam or somethin? im just sitting here looking at my fingers thinking what could work. or just coil a piece of rigid wrapped 3/8 thick wire and just roll it in
