yeahh. when that happens and the connection is broken, i just reset the server in caldera. shut printer off manually, give it about 10 seconds and restart. shut it down in the server admin. close out of caldera completely after the restart of the 560. reopen caldera. open 560. reconnects...
^^ this. i will gladly smash that carraige into vinyl a thousand times then risk metal edge guides on anything that isnt one of my latex printers (reason being is the head price on a solvent is usually 1 to 3k vs $110 for the latex heads).
honestly if you are in a hurry, i almost feel like restarting as soon as you have the problem and not waiting 5 minutes to realize its not actually going to cancel is the better way to go if youre under the gun. also its just straight up infuriating watching the little circle wheel out. makes...
looks relatively normal. i run a 560 so unless its wildly different, which im fairly sure it isnt, it should be okay. keep in mind those heads are user replaceable and cheap so you may want to drop a new set of heads in there to start fresh at 0 on everything. id watch it in operation if...
this may be a dumb question, but is your spindle deflating or slipping? ive had that happen if i lose pressure and it just spins on it self and bunches up material in the platen/heating area.
Just got off a support call for unrelated issue, but was informed that they will no longer be supporting V.10 after Jan 1st, 2020. Just in case noone has heard yet.
my thing is making sure you feed enough both ways. i recommend 4 feet, which may sound like alot, but it gives me piece of mind that short of any other hiccups i wont be reprinting a street banner. you really really really dont want to get to 95 percent on the second side of a banner only to...
have you tried putting a new ink in to see if it is chip related or not? that'd most likely be the first thing id try. if a no go after a restart, id get on the phone with hp. because one cart malfunctioning seems like something that realistically could happen. but all of them like that may be...
yeahh i did not see that when i had initially looked over the stitch line. im suprised and not suprised to see that though. theres always those small caveats with hp printers. i have no expreience with transfer dye sub, only direct so i cant speak to that section of the market. but in terms of...
there are direct dye sub options out there with inline calendars that sub during printing. once you get it dialed in you can run and run and run and run. if you can hold off for a bit, hp is coming out with a dye sub line sometime in the future. basically going to be like their latex line but...
