If you have a pressure washer you can hit the wood with the highest pressure with the wand close,it will wear and splinter the wood. Then dry and paint and or stain and do it again. It will be a learning curve to see what works best. I have pressure washed lots of decks and those pressure...

Glue some plastic tracks on your printed coro,and get numbers and or letters to slide in. Like the old school gas station signs . Printed on plastic and channels o slide in price. Inexpensive and custom.
