  1. TX FOR SALE - 2019 AGFA ANAPURNA H3200i LED PRINTER

Agfa stuff is so well built it makes me cry happy tears. I still have a good pile of argon lasers from some of their old offset gear (that work). Worked in electronics recycling and the machining on their stuff always amazed me. Way outside of my budget, but I am on the redneck level of printing...
  2. White Ink Dripping - TXF-150

When I was in training, the damper fill procedure was a convoluted process, and they mentioned that if air got into the circulation loop that it could cause the head to bleed like that. Definitely check with your tech on firmware, maybe it made the process easier/more effective. Circulation...
  3. Dedicated UV-DTF Printer Time!

Trying to read the service guide for the controller board was a bloody nightmare, just decided to print targeting crosshairs for head alignment as the built-in patterns were just awful. Got things within 2/180th of an inch then used built in patterns. Had issues with bad sealing on capping...
  4. TX FOR SALE - 2019 AGFA ANAPURNA H3200i LED PRINTER

This is the wanted to buy forum. Also, 2025-2020=5
  5. Dedicated UV-DTF Printer Time!

Finally bit the bullet and decided to get a dedicated UVDTF Haolic branded printer instead of printing films on the JFX200. Holy hell, buying a used, rusted Chinese printer was a saga. Took a gamble at $500 and it looks like it spent a few days outside. Control board kit alone was worth that...
  6. White Ink Dripping - TXF-150

Sounds like there might be air getting into the white circulation loops if I were to hazard a guess. I'd be willing to bet on the pumps myself.
  7. Mimaki CJV150 Print Head Problem - Anybody know what's going on?

If the temperature swing is big enough, you might be getting condensation in other parts of the printer. That can cause MAJOR (expensive) issues if that water builds up in moving parts or electronics. Might want to invest in heating the room containing the printer.
  8. Could someone take a look at this nozzle check.

Not a helluva lot of difference between Roland and Mutoh on old DX4/5/7 head machines when it comes to things like parts to be honest. Older printers as well, expect to need more maintenance overall.
  9. Could someone take a look at this nozzle check.

Not an electrical problem in the head, but with the carriage. Last time I saw a DX7 do that, it was slammed into the side of the machine due to an encoder failure. :)
  10. Could someone take a look at this nozzle check.

If the nozzle plate is dirty or getting loose, it can cause deflection.
  11. Could someone take a look at this nozzle check.

Leaning towards mechanical but probably needs a head regardless. If the head is already new, might be a big red flag.
  12. Could someone take a look at this nozzle check.

Virtually every black nozzle on a head deflecting, either something wonky is going on electrically, or might've been something that bonked the printhead if I were to take a stab at it. New head would likely fix the issue, so budget accordingly if you plan on getting it.
  13. Question Does anybody know how to convert a Roland SJ-740 to a SJ-740EX ?

Sounds like a service manual might be in order.
  14. Could someone take a look at this nozzle check.

Nozzles are there, but that is a LOT of deflection on the black.
  15. Mimaki CJV150 Print Head Problem - Anybody know what's going on?

Might want to change your capping station, looks like condensation or something. I have seen cases where that happens when the cap doesn't seal right. The evaporating solvent from the ink chills the head nozzle plate and cools it causing humidity to condense on it. Tends to happen in higher...
  16. Solventinkjet.com review - Bad print head.

Defective heads tend to show their defects really quickly, within seconds to days in most cases. On top of that, the seller has zero control over a new Epson printhead. Heads in general tend to get almost no warranty, as ink can be a huge variable in how long a head lasts. Combine that with...
  17. -

This is the classifieds section, might want to hit the search before double-posting new threads. Roland section is here: https://www.signs101.com/forums/roland.193/ Welcome to Signs101. =)
  18. Can Epson F158000 DX5 printhead be used in a CJV30-100?

Yeah, DX5s are just obscene in price for what they are.
  19. Mimaki UJV100-160 ink issue

If you haven't already, try doing a nozzle wash.
  20. Mimaki UJV100-160 ink issue

Black is usually printed using all colors for 'rich black' and missing black nozzles will make the black look weird.
