  1. Need help, Which components to replace with print head?

Flush the lines and see how they look before replacing the head. As long as ink hasn't completely solidified, should be ok.
  2. Need help, Which components to replace with print head?

I tend to order through Digiprint in Ft. Worth for most stuff due to low prices (especially compared to Mimaki). Just make sure the item shows in stock, or you can be a few weeks if they have to import. https://us.digiprint-supplies.com/
  3. Need help, Which components to replace with print head?

A full complement of head parts tends to be as follows for reviving something that's sitting a while: Head Capping Station Dampers Waste ink pump Flush/cleaner carts
  4. Good cutter for stickers and small items? (Using Roland currently)

Using a dinosaur Summa S-120T I got for $1200 and love the thing. Blades are a bit expensive on the tangential but had really good luck with the Clean Cut ones. The tangential is great for accuracy on tiny cuts and it also cuts through thicker UV inks well.
  5. Mimaki JFX 200 - LUS 150 : I need someones coro profile for ONYX. Speed is too slow. I need a faster Profile

Mimaki support on third party RIPs is pretty limited, but if you can set one up in Onyx at draft DPI of 300X450 DPI 6-Pass, about the highest speed you can get. If running dual CMYK, you can, in theory get 7.6 full bed prints done in an hour. Half that if using white, clear or light colors as...
  6. Mimaki JFX 200 - LUS 150 : I need someones coro profile for ONYX. Speed is too slow. I need a faster Profile

Is it a JFX200 (old 2 head) or JFX200 EX (3 head newer model)? Not sure about Onyx, but just the basic RasterLink profile at draft speed will knock out a bed in around 7-8 minutes on the EX. 12-ish for the older JFX200 base model. If you're looking for something to tear through coroplast in...
  7. JFX EX + LUS120 and coro boards

Stock profile should cover you there, also, 4-year-old thread and posting your email address in public means the bots are going to love spamming your email.
  8. Mimaki technician manual

If you got a new UJF-3042FX, I am impressed, those things are pretty old. Great printers, but when they were new, far before my time.
  9. new Mimaki CJV 200

Meet the i3200-U1 HD, the 8 channel version of the UV i3200. Also aqueous and solvent versions of these heads in 8 channel.
  10. Mimaki CJV150 Print issue (blur)

Might be a MAPS setting issue or the head is using incorrect firing data. Seen this happen when someone bought a cheap replacement head and used the parameter chip from the old head to save a few bucks.
  11. new Mimaki CJV 200

The 330 series uses the weird i3200 head assemblies that Mimaki wants $5k for, but it uses 2 of them.
  12. Mimaki CJV150 Print issue (blur)

Check your media compensation and bidirectional settings?
  13. Where do I sell a printhead?

I see it on eBay, just not a super common head. Price is great compared to other listings but tends to be a slow sale.
  14. TS100-1600 printhead

Only a $2200 head for those, and not used on a lot of printers. Lots of sublimation printers are using i3200 heads now for newer machines with aqueous/sublimation inks. Short of DIYers, most people want ones with some kind of DOA warranty, or they just get heads through their techs/OEMs...
  15. new Mimaki CJV 200

    Working on it.
  16. Mimaki JV150-130 Missing Nozzles

I am based out of OKC, tends to be a pretty quick job. Best bet tends to be Digiprint heads, definitely get the one with the chip (chip has nozzle parameters programmed into it, specific to that head). Also good to change dampers and capping station if not changed already. Can either offer...
  17. looking for a high end UV printing company

UV printing is a really broad thing. Looking for small objects, big objects, textured prints, braille, etc? Wanting to do the prints yourself and looking for a machine, or looking to outsource?
  18. Sub Tank Overfilling on UJF-6042 MKII

Might need to recalibrate the throttle valve, also a chance an air fitting got loosened up.
  19. Third party DX4 printheads

If you get the prime shipped ones that are fulfilled by amazon, slightly better chance. But yeah, cheap for a reason.
  20. Mimaki ujf-3042hg inks

Not familiar with any vendors in Nairobi unfortunately, but they do list 2 dealers there on their website. https://mimaki.com/distributors/ However, might be worthwhile asking for aftermarket ink, as it tends to be a much better deal.
