This happened to me the first week of using the fc9000.
I'm using flexi and don't remember the error code.
After several attempts I ended up creating a new cut only file with the same perimeters as the original and it cut.
Also check your overhead lighting, I have also had problems with...
What I print today I laminate if needed and cut tomorrow.
After printing I loosely fluff the roll over night.
If you can smell a strong odor from the ink don't laminate or cut yet
You Tube Graftec Cutters.
They show you how to do everything on these plotters and how to program the eight preset conditions for perf cut, kiss cut, straight thru cut and setting each one up for for different thicknesses of vinyl.
Once it's set then you run your cuts thru flexi.
Easy Peasy
On our two Roland XR-640 printers they run 12 to 16 hours daily.
Major cleaning done weekly, and always have a new scan motor on stand by, because they only have a 1500 hour life, but will run for 3000 hours.
I was getting a clicking grinding sound from my Roland XR640, I checked everything, still made noise and got multiple head separations.
Cleaned and lubricated the rail the head assembly slides on and everything is quiet and running smooth.
