  1. Artwork for channel letter and other signage projects

Slap a drop shadow on it and call it 3D. I've never had to extrude an actual 3D model in autocad for permits. I've done one isometric drawing in flexi and felt it was a waste of time. I've done many wireframe technical drawings though, but only when I have the sense that it's actually needed.
  2. Artwork for channel letter and other signage projects

You could make that drawing with pretty much any program. Flexi, Corel, Illustrator, Autocad, whatever. Just depends what you're proficient with. Make a few generic ones that you can utilize or modify for multiple projects

  5. What to do about 'Rivets from Hell!'?

After the vinyl is over the rivet, heat it with a hair dryer and push down around it with a squeegee. Then cut around it with xacto knife.
  6. What to do about 'Rivets from Hell!'?

Yeah keep the wrap between the rivets at the top and bottom, and for the other ones, you will have to cut around them when you're done. Tell the guy wraps don't last forever.
  7. Pricing cut vinyl

If you live in parents basement and have zero business expenses then $310 might be great. If you have operating costs, fuel, electricity, equipment, vehicles, insurance, shop supplies, etc. $310 might put you out of business. It all depends on how you operate and how you value your time...
  8. Need Help ASUS ROG Strix Scar 17 "G733QSA-Xs99" vs "G733QSA-XB99"

The difference is one has 32GB and one has 64GB of ram. But they are both way overpriced because of the pointless 360hz screen. If you want to blow over 3 grand on a laptop I suggest going with Falcon Northwest.

You should be rastering at 100% speed and like 70% power. 500 PPI is good.

  18. Wrong color

In Flexi try this: View-> Create Swatch-> CMYK. Cell Dimension 0.4, Horizontal & Vertical spacing 0.5, Number of items per row 5, Advanced: Step 5%, Start 0 End 100%. Print and laminate this and hang it on your wall.
