matte UV inks have a (microscopically) rough surface which is what gives them the matte appearance. This rough surface is harder to adhere to. solvent won't have this issue since the ink goes onto the vinyl

What is "allowance", sounds like something you'd give a child. more hours worked = more pay for hourly employees, overtime pay once they go over 40hrs in a week. Very simple

Happens with matte UV inks on some vinyls. i have this issue printing matte mode on Colorado 1650 on some vinyls. Try different vinyl or different printer. I've been able to salvage a few prints with this issue using clear transfer tape instead of paper, the clear tape stuck slightly better

I haven't checked yet on my machine but I've seen real ink use stats and it came out to about 15 cents/sq ft full coverage. I'll do some testing next week.

I always beat the big sticker places on lower quantities by 10-15% and on larger quantities by about 5%, still very worth it. I don't run single orders though and try to print full rolls to make it more efficient

I sell small stickers online and surprisingly the artwork supplied is usually pretty good, less than 1% artwork is problematic. you don't need much resolution for a 3" x 3" sticker.

is this file made on a illustrator "large canvas" ? this can throw the scaling off by 1000% when copy pasting in to a non large canvas/other programs because size is "faked" in the large canvas illustrator

pasting from illustrator large canvas most likely is throwing the scaling off

go look on stickermule and copy their price or go lower if you feel like you can
