  2. Trade show floor graphics

The no laminate floor materials have texture, most of the ink is protected below the raised texture and any scuffs happed on the top/raised areas and it is pretty hard to scuff up. My worry would be someone dragging something across the graphic during tradeshow set up or a polishing/scrubbing...

I would do 2" overlaps. Substance pm2755 vinyl with substance tl6100 is great combo at a great price. I did a pretty big floor (roof) decal recently and it was easier than expected. Next time I do something like this I'll be using air release vinyl ( substance pm2755 is air release, $199 per...

They don't seem like they have much experience using it in that video, they have some good videos on youtube where the operator knows what they're doing. It does take some practice to use the flatbed tables. Maybe this guy folded under pressure of cameras pointing at him

Taking on some "sign shop" work this year to learn/expand my offerings. Before I was strictly online print/cut/ship. Local work where I can see the finished project is pretty cool I started doing installs for the first time this year after over a decade in business, have not applied a wall...
  15. Canon Colorado M Series.

It is not a cheap machine, service contract costs as much as buying a new Epson or HP or Roland almost every year... Not the best choice for low volume
  16. Equipment Redundancy - Bad idea to rely on one printer?

I found out Canon has 2 tech teams, one that handles the big machines and Arizona flatbeds and another team that handles the copies etc + Colorado. (at least here in Houston) The copiers + colorado team is more worried about keeping copiers at fedex office/kinkos running than the Colorados...
  17. Canon Colorado M Series.

Ink is the same, bottle sizes and price per ml are different. You can't upgrade the m3 to the larger/cheaper per ml ink bottles. You will not get any ink cost advantage with the m3 over competition.
