  2. Old School Trucker Font

We had a client come in today while we were out and wants his truck lettering done in an old school truckers font (I would guess a font that was used on trucks in the 40's or 50's). Anything with tails is out as he wants it arched on the top & bottom lettering. Can anyone suggest to me some...

  4. Help cant open cdr file in flexi10

One of our suppliers that we use for clipart told me a cdr file needed to be opened with either corel or AI and then could be exported as an eps to use in flexi. I have had good success doing it this way. Works great if I want to change the text but keep the same look as in the clipart. Larry

Lots of good information here and a real learning curve as well. TyrantDesigner we used an edge sealer pen to seal all the edges. Looks like the laminate is my main problem. I am going to try and lift the edge wrapped around the door, cut it even with the edge and use 3m sealer tape on it...

  14. Using A Laser Level ???

Thanks for all the advise on this subject. I have been using my eye and measuring from various body parts and have been doing ok with this. Just thought having a reference line would speed up the process. Thanks Larry
  15. Cut contour not following cutpath

We have a problem in flexi sometimes that when applying a contour cut to lettering and/or graphics, the cut line misses a spot or two (like it skips a small area then continues on). We have always used the effects-contour cut-set the other choices and sent to the cutter/plotter (versacamm)...
  16. Using A Laser Level ???

As always I am thinking of ways to make an installation job easier. I am wondering if a laser level (self-leveling would be the best) would work when applying lettering to a vehicle? We have 10 vehicles to do with the same lettering for the doors, front & rear fenders, crew cab doors, etc that...
