I’ve had a mutoh 54” printer going on 8 yrs now. I love everything about it except when it breaks which is very rare. I have to eat a few days to get it fixed. My printer tech is astonished this thing still runs as well as it does. I won’t hesitate to buy another printer when this one dies...
just buy an eco solevent printer and be done with it...i print thousands of decals every month...3" x 3" and below and have crisp and clear prints all day long...we are using a mutoh
i agree with a living wage...i also ask my employees for their opinion all time...may not necessarly use their advice but it gives them a sense of ownership. i also do an employee bonus cash bonus program every month...more $$$ the less mistakes you make, and if the store does well it gets...

equipment: base seal heat assist laminator 54" around 8 yrs old
this weekend i made a boo boo and messed up the bottom roller. its not terrible but it is causing some slight marks on the laminated vinyl.
my question is would you fix...
just nicely ask the new guy how they would like to pay for it cash or credit. They will hem and haw but I'd stand my ground and nicely remind them time how much extra time the design took.

i always give 2 options...1. we can terminate your employment and give a not rehirable answer to anyone who calls. or 2. let the employee quit, with a nice letter of recommendation from you...most will choose to quit...you dont ever have to rehire them, but it lets them move on with their...
id farm the whole thing out. wrap shops are going to be much better equipped to handle the project from start to finish...they have acutall experience in design and layout for a full wrap. take a small percentage and go make money where your money is being made.
