Not sure if that was in reference to me but my settings are always "inch", "pts" is pointless (pun intended) until customers says "make the font 24pt". btw I can type 24pt, cm, mm, px etc. in my text size and it will be correct, it just tells me in inches what 24pt is.

Correct, Corel's text size isn't true size either (see below). I do, however, use a macro to size text properly. SignLab has it right, no matter what font you use.

Well not sure about Flexi but in corel I'd select the shape and "create boundary" this would give you just the outer perimeter whereby ignoring all inside shapes. If there are still various areas inside that do need to be cut I'd use the smart fill tool to fill those then combine them with that...

In Corel very rarely does anyone import/place a native cdr file. Always open it. As for an eps or pdf it's imported/placed without any color correcting. You can "link" an an image as opposed to straight import but I never do that. Importing a raster image also does not alter the colors. It may...

I used to use a combination of all 4 colors (C45 M45 Y45 K100) to produce a "rich" black. I've found that R0 G0 B0 produces an even "richer" black than that though.

have you tried remapping the network link? From your own Mac navigate thru the network and find the "hot' folder or shared folder on the Flexi workstation. Drag the link to File Explorer favorites(or whatever Mac calls it).
