And another fun project...
I do quite a bit of specialty printing for race teams and am in need of someone who can make some small (14" - 16") dimensional hands for me. Same hand - just need 2 of them. Not a huge project, but I need some advice. If anyone knows someone around here that does...
Logo design
Am I the only one who first checks on Google Images before designing a logo?
Its a good way to see what other people have done with similar logos and a great way to not step into a copyright minefield by designing something that already exists or would be eerily similar.
How many companies are making over $1 million a year from internet purchases alone? I would venture to say that number is pretty small.
Based on your method with 5 companies pooling resources - that makes their gross gain $200,000 each - if all goes well. If you have a sales guy who truly knows...
Does anyone have any experience printing banners with HopSyn synthetic paper?
I have a customer who has specified this stuff for a grocery store chain and it is a pain to get in small enough quantity.
Banner stands
Banner stands isn't something you should be giving away for $150. There is still good money to be made in tradeshow hardware.
I generally give a client a 3-tiered option - good, better, best and sell around what I don't want them to get and 9 out of 10 times I sell them the more...
I didn't write this - i found it online from SDMag:
The Inkjet Ink Market
Ink evolution: Inkjet inks for signage applications commonly use a water, solvent, or monomer base, and when mixed with various proprietary ingredients offer optimum performance for use in specific types of...

I could answer this but it would take a very long time. Too many major and subtle differences. Lets start here:

Oh God I didn't erase all the contact info on the form - is that gonna get me in trouble with the site rules police against self-promotion for non-subscribers or merchant members?
Work Order
Se attached for copy of mine. We get them printed on pads and sequential numbering from a digital press.
It is also a PDF form that I can send out or fill out online.
You kind of have to develop your own though based on type of work you do. We don't need an area for sketches as we...
Marketing
Andy,
Original point was over giving discounts and how they relate to coupon marketing - only on a retail basis, but thanks for the great lesson on how Walmart thinks. Every single thing I (and I guess everyone else here) does is a one of kind product that didn't exist anywhere else...
And once again...
This isn't a debate as to which method is better. It is about providing solutions to a real world issue. Nobody is saying one method is better than the other. We have now presented TWO possible answers to his problem.
There are tons of things that someone who knows what...
Static
I wipe down everything with 99%IPA anyway to help get rid of fingerprints (big issue around here from suppliers).
I have also used Windex with vinegar on PVC and it works just as good. I have only used it on PVC, though.
Additionally - good old Bounce dryer sheets with anti-static...
