That was my first thought to. I just changed out to another new damper and the same problem continues. Here is a picture of what it does, starts off perfect then starts to fade out.
  4. VS 640 Black Ink Problem

Hey guys and girls, I have a problem with my VS. I have recently installed a brand new print head, Dampers, pump, cap top. It was printing perfectly and now I can't seem to find out what the problem is. I can do a couple of medium cleanings and the test print will be perfect. I start a print...

Ok, I got a service manual and parts coming my way. I am planning to switching from 8 color to 4 color dual CMYK. Anyone done this that has any tips for me? 8. Roland new launch VS640 !!!

Spot colors. You have to lay the graphics out with nothing under the silver as well or it will not print right.
  9. Roland new launch VS640 !!!

Here is a job I did with my VS. I have to say I don't use the Silver all that often but when I do things come out really nice. I haven't had any problems with my printer, knock on wood!!
  10. 53' Trailer Wrap

On my SP540 to do a complete Semi Trailer wrap, I think it was 28 panels 12' tall took right around 35 hours of print time. A full day to install. With the take up reel you can print quite a bit while your not there so its not as bad as it sounds. The price on them is right though and they come...
  11. 53' Trailer Wrap

I have done 3 trailers for race teams just like your wanting to do on my SP540V. I would do them all day long if there were more customers wanting something like that. 12' tall is about right if your going all the way to the bottom and all the way to the top of a featherlite race trailer. Pretty...
  12. Nissan Cube Wrap

I really like the printer. I have a little bit of a hard time getting the colors as bright as my SP540 but with a little work they seem good. The metallic and white is a nice thing to have at times.
  13. Nissan Cube Wrap

The perf was pretty easy actually to install. Was much easier than I thought is was going to be. I agree on the contrast with the heating and AC writing. That was all part of his logo and he didn't want it changed but I wish I would have done something to make it pop out better.
  14. Nissan Cube Wrap

Thanks for the kind words. I printed this on my new Roland VS-640 and used the Arlon 6000XRP and 3220 wrap kit. I have used this on a few trailers with good results and this experience was no different.
  15. Dirt Modified Race Car Specs

Measure the car they are going on. I have done a lot of Mods and depending on who mounted the body they are not even close to the same from one to another. I have seen doors that were 20" Tall and others that were close to 30" Tall just to give you an idea.
  16. Nissan Cube Wrap

Here is the first wrap I have done on a street vehicle. I have done many, many racecars but this was a first for me. I have a few things I would do for sure different next time but overall I think it came out pretty good. Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.
  17. 3165RA Failing?

Here is a good example of the type of failure I am seeing. Now that you say it most are printed all the way to the edge of the film. These are contour cut graphics printed to the edge. Most I would say are in the sun a lot and I have seen them fail now on rear truck windows more than anything...
  18. 3165RA Failing?

Has anyone else been having this problem at all? I have used this material for quite some time now and have been having a few issues lately with the edges starting to come up. These are less than a year old and it looks like the glue just didn't stick all that well? Anyone else have this...
  19. Roland new launch VS640 !!!

Mine was extremely slow when it was first setup. The installer insisted I run it on uni-directional and to not turn the head speed up. Since then, I have gone to printing in Bi-Directional at as high of a head speed as possible and the silver prints great still. I also print the cmyk at the same...
