We couldn't print for a few months because of other issues. I was told that I should be able to print at 8p, even 6p, and there shouldn't be any banding on vinyl. A lot of parts were replaced to remedy the banding. So, it seemed like this issue had not been one before and nobody knew about it...

I never paid much attention to the ones we have done, color always seemed to be fine between the rolls... But, even with what you are saying, there will still be a point where two panels meet that are from different rolls.
