I lost my lc on motoh falcon outdoor. Popped the cover on the printhead and found this damper that looks cracked. Could this be a cause for losing one of the colors in my test print?

When my mutoh goes into cleaning mode, the wiper makes a gosh awful racket like its stripped a cog or something. is this a cleaning issue or did it strip a cog?
