I was leaning toward feed issue looking at the test prints. Maybe some backlash in the feed gear? the feed motor is spring loaded to the gear, so loosening the bolts that hold the feed motor to the chassis, wiggling it, and re tightening them might fix it.

in your versaworks directory, under swatch -> corel there is a userinks.cpl file you can open, and is all the VW colours, CutContour included. It wont shop up in the default add list, you have to change the file type drop down to legacy.

if you make the multiples in your design software instead of VW, would it cut as you want it to? try making 2 of something with a cut and perf, and see the order the printer carries it out in. Maybe making a 20-up image would solve this issue?

ask for a print while you are looking at it. Not one they said they "just did", watch it print + cut in person. Listen to it while it prints, does it scream or make rattling sounds? This printer needs a RIP software, illustrator can't print to it. The plugins just export it to whatever RIP...

Usually the cut carriage cable is the problem, it's also cheap. next often is the cut carriage board, also cheap.

If you can be sure all the ink is flushed out of the head, then it'll store just fine.
