I've done some research on the manufacturing of traffic signs on this site as well as with D.O.T. but can't seem to find if there is any licensing required in the state of New Jersey to do so. Does anyone know or how to find out, Thanks
okay I did speak with them (traffix) but the distributor in my area is a competitor and I would only be making minimal profit. Traffix is willing to give me the price that they give the distibutor which is where I need to be at with free shipping but there is a $5,000 min. order and the only...
I'm looking to supply the heavy duty portable sign stands that you see contruction sign held up by on the interstates. There are several brands but I'm looking for the Big/Little Buster series. Does anyone know where I can get these for wholesale or something like it?
I tried looking up Sign Height Regulations in NJ and can't find any REAL data. I am placing a large order with my supplier and I'm a new business and would like to know for an example what height street name sign heights are so I can order quantities of the right size U-channels/round stock.
I use reflective all the time and when placing an order with 3m they always ask me if I want flexible reflective or not. I use Egineer Grade and High Intensity
We just opened a sign shop in NJ and we had the idea of the last 4 digits of our phone number to read xxx-xxx-7446 so you can advertise it as...

I have it ordered and a Graphtec FC8000 54" on the way. I have seen and tried other programs but this one seemed the most practical and user friendly. Also he was able to walk me thru it on gotomeeting.com and that is a very useful customer service tool for me being a NOOb and all. Thanks
I specify in traffic signs and would only really be using it to apply the sheeting. Is it even possible for high intensity to bubble? The lettering will be applied with what appears to be transfer tape on a raised frame...what is the term for this tool? NOOB lol
pre-sheeted blanks is an option but my customers ask for both engineer grade and high intensity. I'm also not sure if that will be as cost effective but I will research it, not a bad idea
I am aware that it will take some abuse so in this case, what type of Laminator should I go with. Will a higher priced one handle the abuse better? ..or should I be looking at a entry level Laminator for an easy and cost effective replacement later down the road? Thanks
When applying high intensity sheeting to metal sign blanks, do I need a laminator to feed the high intensity thru? I want to speed up the process of applying the sheeting rather than using a squeegee.
