I use a sintra or plexi leader about 12" long. Tape my prints to the leader so the bubbles show up on the leader not the final piece. Just make sure to use a decent tape when attaching the leader to the acrylic (duct tape works for me)

We have a latex 850 and I've seen weird patterns like that from our platen if the vacuum is set way to high. I don't know what the platen on the 26500 looks like though. Very weird but consistent pattern. Can you see those waves on the un-printed roll in the right light?

We have a unique situation when it comes to a sign shop. We are actually owned by a exhibit company...which is the company the whole project is being done by. We support all graphic related items for them as well as business to business clients...no direct retail/store front type clients...
