  1. Opinion on Used Roland/Texbejet

Hey guys, We have been offered this Printer at a reasonable price. Prints and Sublimates at the same time. Does anyone recognize this machine or have a reference I could google to get more specs? I have found a supplier in Australia but their site no longer has this printer available. I would...

  5. High resolution wood grain images, what's the best site?

You dont necessarily need wood. Foamcore works just as well and has a nice white finish. Camera? If you have an Iphone 5 or higher you can get results that are sufficient enough for some run of the mill prints. Heck, im printing images 1m2 taken by clients and some are actually suprisingly good...
  6. High resolution wood grain images, what's the best site?

Shoot and tweak. Hands down the best advice I could give regarding this. It will save you loads of cash in the long run. Usually I pick up my camera and set up a couple softboxes all at the same distance to get homogenous lighting all round and lay down whatever texture I need. Gives me freedom...
  7. Direct to fabric print using a Vutek GS2000

This will most likely be ongoing as the client does work in retail and he is looking to expand his collection. What we need is something similar to a white 200g polyester that is used in sublimation. I dont think heat will be an issue as our Vutek has LED curing. Our only concern is if the inks...

  9. Direct to fabric print using a Vutek GS2000

Hey guys, Wondering if anyone could help me with this. I have a client that wants a print made on a curtain. I was wondering if you could suggest what fabric I could use for a direct print using a Vutek GS2000. I dont really want to outsource this to sublimation. Are there any polyesters at...
  10. Vutek Gs3250 lx pro

What do you mean by duplicated? Are you getting duplicate rips when you import or send via jdf or is it printing the same file twice in succession?
  11. Heat-resistant mask for burning graphics into wood

Try laser cutting the logo negative onto a steel sheet or a thicker hardwood. Ive used this method before and it seems to work well on a flat surface as the wood stains pretty fast. If you're using a curved surface though, it may get trickier and I cant say Ive had any experience there.

  16. can you remove a print? from a uv flatbed?

On acrylics you can use Type B Solvent. Dont use it on Polistyrene based plastics though. Works well on Glass, PP, ABS and Dibond. It just takes a load of time to clean. Type A solvent or general purpose will just take to long to react to the ink and end up damaging the substrate. Whereas...

  19. Battle of the Giants

Hey guys. Just looking for a few opinions. We've weighed pros and cons and are a little torn between the 2. Off the bat, the Agfa ink seems to be the most resilient but we're looking for some first hand experienced opinions on these 2 machines before we jump into the deep end. Jeti Titan S vs...
