  1. Need Help Help-Can I use this logo?

Since you publicly asked...No...you cannot legally do it for money...unless you perform the task for "educational purposes" and no money gets exchanged. I surmise that most of the guys here that say ...just fricken do it, no big deal, are really suggesting that you should've never brought it...

  4. Question MacHeads - Data From New Mac to Old Mac?

Yes indeed TimToad...that would and DOES suck because I can't operate my old (but good) software on anything newer than OS 9. Also part of the equation here when considering transfer of data. Thanks so much again you guys. This has really made me miss good ol' "101"... ;-)
  5. Question MacHeads - Data From New Mac to Old Mac?

@DSCI, 'm transferring to an "old" computer...not the other way around. @MPN...my old computer won't communicate via USB. As stated earlier, the oldie but goodie is running my old cutter and it's not connected to the internet. I want it to receive data directly from my new Mac. But, thanks...
  6. Question MacHeads - Data From New Mac to Old Mac?

Helo Fellow Sign Makers! Long time no see! :) Although I'm firmly entrenched into my art studio work I am constantly getting asked if I "still do signs?". Well, of course I (we) do! Once a sign painter/maker ALWAYS ....right? So, as some of you recall, I'm a Mac guy (was Mac/PC/Linux at...

I am so tardy it's not funny....I'm the worst at keeping up. It's an honest reflection of my activities out in the world....that is, I'm BARELY in the sign biz any more personally. I only do it enough to support my art and music habit. ;) LOL However, I do miss our banter and helps. Hope...

  9. Installing graphics onto picnic tables.

The best paint I've found for just about any "general long lasting" effect is Acrylic Latex paint. Key word being "Acrylic". The stuff sticks, literally, to anything and lasts longer than any paint I've ever used in 42 years. I'd go with satin gloss in fine roller form and just glue your...

Thanks again JC....but as to the suggestion of the work-around to save as a PDF file of the old Canvas files (or anything else for that matter) ; It looks like one would have to have a working native program such as Canvas ....or know how to do work the Apple Script function....two things I'm...

  13. Flexi Sign Pro for Mac

Hope Thanks JC, your words have been like a soothing balm knowing there's half a chance I might be able to save my cool and use most of what I've got on board. Questions: Where is the place (a link please) to download the Safenet Sentinel driver? And since I don't print or CNC ...the only...

What To Do With Mountain Lion Hey guys. Long time Mac user here. I screwed the pooch good yesterday. I decided "on a whim" to install Mountain Lion straight over Snow Leopard on my 2 year old iMac 27" system. I have only needed to be a "cutter" guy for my small 1 (or 2 when needed) person...

"Mosh" ..... Two resolutions....#1) Macs have always worked flawlessly in Sign shops. #2.) The Panther has and is a great cutting machine. Best bang for the buck, hands down. and just as good for cutting details of ANY plotter I ever used in the last 25 years. And I have used them...
