  6. White hard UV ink is printing with an ivory/yellowish tint

you should shake your white ink everyday. the more white sits unused in any printer it shortens it's life span. also like signheremd said you should print a white bar or box from time to time to keep everything flowing properly. not saying i do this everyday but we are pretty regimented that it...

  8. How to explain outsourcing?

when we quote the job we will include a pretty good description of process and materials that usually avoids the questions. we are a decent size shop so don't usually get asked if we do everything in house but we have on occasion had to tell a customer that job was farmed out but can't say we...
  9. Question Boxing Ring vinyl??

  14. MS51 inks - what happens if expired?

we have an spj-330 with a bulk ink system. when the inks on that expire it won't print. (stupid and a pain in the ass) so you can replace the chip and keep using the older ink and just swap out the cart/ / bag when it's done. not sure if it's the same for your machine but i am not a fan...
  15. Suggestions Small roll to roll UV printer

we recently got a roland LG which is 64 " print cut but they do have a 30" model and even though it's 30" max you can use smaller width material. we had a little hiccup when we got it due to some ink issues but i believe they got it all worked out. print quality is good and the cut option makes...
  16. Best option for printing onto aluminum blanks in scale?

yeah if you are doing that type of volume i would say look in to a cutter as well. lining up the blanks on the bed, removing them will be a lot of time. print a full sheet and then cut it, less labor and as Gino said babysitting the machine to make sure you don't have printing issues

we have a few customers we do this for. we do it for banners and coro signs. we just make cover up decals and they get like 3-5 years out of them depending on how well they take care of them (some have gotten as much as 7-10yrs) but banners and coro signs are temporary so if they get 3 years out...
