we have a TEC axxis digital label finisher and we having a cutting issue. getting pulling/dragging and not cutting consistently. i changed the blade, cleaned and oiled the blade holder. going to try replacing the holder wondering if anyone else has some ideas what might cause this ? thanks

we have roland, mimaki and efi printers and they all do the same thing. i asked our tech onetime and he gave me an answer that kind of made sense but really i think he didn't know either...haha he said it had something to do with the machine staying at the same speed to keep everything aligned...

another important factor is tech and supply support. make sure whichever printer you go with you have adequate tech/repair support and easy access to supplies. you can have the greatest printer in the world but if you run out of ink or the machine goes down then you aren't making money

to replace coro would need to know what you are making with it? if you use it for yard signs not sure there is another material you can use with step stakes. (they do have a paper/card stock or a plastic bag type of sign both go over the top of a U shaped stake. also polystyrene can be used...

if you can get it to rotate on the laminator hold a razor knife on it till it cuts all the way through. band saw, saws all all will work but the razor knife and laminator will work best. the other options melt the vinyl due to the speed of the blade

not sure if they have what you are looking for or not but they are definitely an EFI dealer. we have bought two EFI printers from them and get our ink through them. you can reach out to my contact if you want or just call them and ask who ever answers i would say you are not wasting their time...

first it takes like double or triple the tape that the paper liner takes to attach to the take up real. then once it gets started it's usually ok but i have had occasions like you just did where i had to keep turning the take up real by hand to get through the job. plain English it sucks...haha...
