    we have a TEC axxis digital label finisher and we having a cutting issue. getting pulling/dragging and not cutting consistently. i changed the blade, cleaned and oiled the blade holder. going to try replacing the holder wondering if anyone else has some ideas what might cause this ? thanks

    another important factor is tech and supply support. make sure whichever printer you go with you have adequate tech/repair support and easy access to supplies. you can have the greatest printer in the world but if you run out of ink or the machine goes down then you aren't making money

    if you can get it to rotate on the laminator hold a razor knife on it till it cuts all the way through. band saw, saws all all will work but the razor knife and laminator will work best. the other options melt the vinyl due to the speed of the blade

    first it takes like double or triple the tape that the paper liner takes to attach to the take up real. then once it gets started it's usually ok but i have had occasions like you just did where i had to keep turning the take up real by hand to get through the job. plain English it sucks...haha...
