Best plotter I've ever owned. I had a monster pounce job last week that had to be done in a few days. I bought another summa (same model) to help complete the job. Now selling one because I don't need two long term. This machine is less than a year old and purchased from Diversified Display...
You can have different settings with different options. For straight color vinyl, I have it cut the entire file, then roll it up. For print and cut, I have it read 30", cut 30", then roll it and move on. Essentially it will split a job up for you if you'd like.
I love the idea of auto cutoff but another option may be the take up reel. Not sure if its available for your machine but i have a s2t160 and the take up reel is amazing. I let an entire 150ft roll cut and I just come back later and grab it off when I'm ready. Saves a ton of labor not to...
I got a trial of enroute. Nothing but issues and never even got to run a file. Bought Vcarve pro and had it running in an hour. Spent some time watching youtube videos and carved a sign no problem. I bought direct from WinCNC, microsystems world CNC and he included a couple hours of free...
Got a colex few months back. Extrememly happy with company and support. I have a friend that got an esko recently and he's very pleased. As far as dust collector, the shopvac works perfect and much more compact. I did get the 5hp router just for the hell of it. I would also get the tool...
Didn't know exactly where to put this. We are looking to add a paint booth to our shop. Trying to find the best option for us. Looking for a smaller booth. Possible about 10x8. I'm looking for different options. The shop is used for a lot of mixed uses and cars are sometimes kept inside so...
Hey Guys, I'm new to CNC. Purchased a Colex Sharpcut Pro with 5hp spindle a few months ago. I've been through most of the basics and I'm now looking to learn about some 3d routing. Mostly debossed "carved" signs but also some embossed pyramid letter type stuff. Most of my useage is interior...
I swtiched from the FC8600 over to summa S2t160 with opas cam. I do mainly print and cut. This machine has saved us about 20 hours a week of useless labor. The take up feature is really great. The FC9000 now has the takeup but I would give it a few months so you're not the test dummy for...
This is a dealer issue more so than an oki issue. I have a few m-64's and have had great luck. I print just about everything on quality mode just to make sure it's perfect.
I had a similar situation with Mutoh on a UV printer and the dealer and manufacturer are total trash.
You need to dig...
We do a ton of these. We use a Mimaki UV printer and print white on Lintec scratch resistant 2 mil optically clear. By far the easiest way. Especially since there are a lot of last minute edits with these typically.
average time for 2 sides and rear of a 26' box is 6 hours once cleaned. With 2 good installers keeping each other motivated, they can get at least 3 a day done.
don't have time to respond right now but I bought one with trimmer 2 months ago and love it. I have videos to show. takes a bit to get used to but saves tons of time. Message me if you want to know more and i'll give you my number.
I have the roll-x with adjustable height, backlight, etc. We absolutely love it. It's a nice wide table which I love. When I was trying to decide which to buy, the overhead brace of the rolls-roller put that out of contention. The CWT was a serious consideration. The one thing I hated about...
Just got a S2t160 with take up installed. Everything is great so far but the Winplot that comes with it for regular sign vinyls is terrible. I'm looking for an alternative program. I don't need a plugin for illustrator. This will be on a separate rip computer.
We will be importing PDF's...
Just got the s2t160 with take up. It's freaking amazing. Cut a whole roll and didn't look back. I do 90% print, laminate, and cut. Not much sign vinyl but it would work the same if not better.
