Mutoh believes it's a voltage irregularity in the head. Solution is to replace the head.

Put the head on low, this was the result through the whole print.

Something has to be hitting. I raised the head to high, no issues. Back to medium, back to streaks. I'll be looking real close tomorrow at it.

Machine is 3 years old, I've owned it since new. Doesn't get a super ton of action as my main work is paint protection, tint and color change vinyl wrapping, with some print graphics on the side. It sits in my basement with 2 dehumidifiers running when it is humid. Not a ton of foot traffic...

Just to answer this prior problem, motherboard was on its way out. Due to Supplies Unlimited being the worst Graphtec tech shop possible, I ended up having to call all over the country to get a motherboard delivered. Had to install myself, works fine again.

It's mainly on regular white vinyl with a gloss laminate. I've done reflective before with some success. I've placed scotch tape, a matte clear vinyl, matte ppf, matte lam on the marks, doesn't work well. Literally all lights off and try and try until it does. I called the local repair place...

I cut a ton of paint protection with it, along with just single colored vinyl graphics. Like I mentioned, only thing it struggled with was contour cutting, even with all lights off, matte piece of film over registration, thing just does not want to work with it.

Is it actually worth getting the OPOS Cam version over without the Cam?

My biggest issue is it will not read registration marks well at all. Does great at everything else. Doesn't help the local "repair" shop does not return calls for service for graphtec either.
