What point styrene or lexan would I print on to frame on top of a backlit panel/light box? I want it to have a similar look to duratran.

I've been working with glass for some time but find it limiting in what shapes it can be cut into. I was hoping I could talk to someone who has used translucent vinyl/plastic for this purpose and knows where to buy it. It just has to be able to hold die cuts and airbrush paint. Thank you so much.
