Pumper Tank

Attached is a pumper tank/body that I created for a template today.
I used the PVO template for the cab of this truck; if you have a PVO subscription you can download and place the appropriate artwork for that area of the vehicle.
(see low-res JPEG for placement)

I don't do this kind of work, but the gesture is to be commended. Thnx...

Just curious... have you had to create a template for those new fully electric buses yet? I have the CAD from Gillig - but it has so much crap I don't need, and it's not in proper layers. it's one of those 3 trillion layer files -where there are no lines, just segments.

Here is a nice school bus for those of you who have to (unfortunatly) wrap these...
It is a Thomas bus, but that is all I know.
Template at 10% Scale, Front/hood is a bit wonky but just keep those simple and print large panels.
Hope it saves someone else a few hours!

Just curious... have you had to create a template for those new fully electric buses yet? I have the CAD from Gillig - but it has so much crap I don't need, and it's not in proper layers. it's one of those 3 trillion layer files -where there are no lines, just segments.

Nope, but when I do I'll post it here. We don't do all that many busses, normally just trucks/vans. I get all my outlines from PVO, but we occasionally get these oddballs that I "get" to draw the templates for.

When I get those I delete all the extra junk then make a separate layer for each side. (You usually have to do each side separately or the app will crash.) Then I adjust the stroke thickness so that all of the segments overlap and then flatten the transparency so that they all become fills and then you merge the fills into one object with the pathfinder tool. I get this all the time with CAD drawings of fire trucks. Fun fun.
