I have never seen that one before.
How much space do you have left on you HD?
Knowing you a ton

Did you run all of your scans?
How about trying to install it to a new location?

Good morning back at ya :thumb:

This might sound dumb, but do you have any programs running that might block installations?

I'm stumped:banghead:
What OS are you running

It's because you're using a PC :p

Anyways, clean out your temp folder completely and check the permission. Maybe run it as administrator for the install.

i know my laptop does some freaky things when it hasn't been shut down in awhile....did you try shutting down??

i'd also try emptying the temp folder (like mentioned above)...

did you run a windows update just before the problem started??

Did you check your permissions on the temp folder? Are you running as admin? Why aren't you answering these questions did you get it working?

2. Check that the option “accept any authentication including clear text” is activated.

No that's not allowed, :ROFLMAO:

Do you have another PC to try and install it on, maybe the program has issues????

I've tried installing (3) different programs with different temp file errors....
I downloaded and installed CCLEANER, although I already have it installed,
as a test to see if I could install it....it installed o.k.
Hard to believe that three different programs have issues specific to the temp folder.
As some have suggested, I frequently empty the temp folder as well as the prefetch.

That is strange, you did say they were audio converters could there be a conflict with your audio card?

Not if you have the windows installer that is broken.. Most of the replies are way off mark.

First of all. I would make sure there are no other programs running. This problem often comes up with a memory full condition. Something may have a memory leak.

Then goto documents and settings folder\ bigal\local settings\temp and clean it out. every thing has to go. That Ins1D1a.tmp.exe has me concerned..
Next you can see it is writing to the my documents folder. Make sure you have full rights to the entire folder tree.
