ISA Las Vegas, Who is going?

I got everything setup weeks ago and it's a good thing. Airfare, rental car and hotel have all risen dramatically since I booked, to the tune of $800 higher if I booked the same exact ones today.

Am SO looking forward to the week off. Looking for a laminator, router and DTG machine.

Since I am there for a week by myself, would enjoy meeting up with you fellas.

Make the call Dave, we will be there...

I've only been there a couple of times. You Yanks know the best places to eat and drink, so I don't think it would be a good look for some smart ass Aussie to take over. But I do know there is a nice little bar near the reception area in the Luxor where we could meet a few and then have a drink and make a date at a venue for eating and mixing later on. Anyone interested in being the catering king/queen??:banghead:

I've only been to Vegas twice before myself, but I actually prefer the downtown to the Strip. Lower limit tables with better rules and drinks/food seem less expensive.

Gotta love the "99 cent" Shrimp cocktail at the Golden Gate, but too bad it is $1.99 now.

Only a couple of days before I fly to LA. Anyone prepared to arrange a time and place for a meet up. I'm thinking Thursday evening with everyone wearing their lanyard so we can get a peep at who they are??? All ideas welcome!

I plan to show up if someone wants to pick a place.....

I would shy away from the mega-resorts with their mega drink pricing though.

In the middle of the Strip my fave is the Casino Royale. Laid back digs there. Lots of "interesting" folks to observe and Mic's and Margaritas for a buck. Not sure is there is a good place to sit around in there though.

Personally, I prefer the downtown as, IMHO, the casinos have more character, the games offer better rules and the drinks are cheaper.

I suppose we could go here: http://www.vegas.com/nightlife/stripclubs/littledarlings.html
Not sure the Mrs would like that idea though.......

I think the best place would be an ordinary little restaurant, nott too noisy where a bunch of people can have a reasonable meal and a drink and mix around. Come on guys, for goodness sake, lets get it together soon, or nothing will happen.

This is my last post from here. I will be out of bed at 4am in the morning and I will try to find somewhere to check in when I get to the states. If nothing happens we all just walk around looking at name tags, hoping to recognize people. I arrive at Vegas on the Tuesday morning and will be staying at the Excalibur..

I'll be there... no idea what the plan is though, reluctant to leave the shop considering how busy it is.

I'll be at the show and staying at the Excalibur.

If everyone has a cell phone, PM your number to me and then I'll forward a list to everyone who said they are attending in this thread. That way we can get in touch while we are there.
