We had a customer which we were doing both sides and rear of their vans for $350. Not much lettering, but a consistent customer for at least 20 years. Noticed a year or so ago we weren't doing his vans and when I called, he didn't return my call.
Saw him just the other week at a local home builders show and point blank asked him what was going on ??
He said, Oh my son is now running things..... so I walked over to junior and he proceeded to tell me they have a guy that comes to them and letters the trucks on site for $225. and he knew I couldn't drop that far.
I asked him if he was happy and he said.... well, for the most part, yeah. The guy never puts the stuff in the same spot and things seem to change size from truck to truck, but the savings..... we can't complain.
I guess ya just get what ya pay for.
As for your trucks copy from top to bottom, the Gettysburg Address and on the back yet to boot...... sounds a little cheap to me for $350, but no one can really tell without seeing the actual layout, difficulty in weeding and applying and how much waste there really is involved. If this was a once and done... no frickin' way, but a fleet, ah.... I might consider it.
