Don't think so Kentucky... those are the same file IMHO...

I've seen that drastic a difference on the same file with different medias... and ink limits... and profile set-ups...

Not to start an argument... "media" has nothing to do with the areas I highlighted between the 2 pics. Nor is it an "ink limit". That would just affect the pixelation and color saturation.....these 2 samples are a FILE output difference due to the gradient affect to make it look "wet" You can see the multi step oulines for the shape. It's the way the file was processed...not the printers fault.
