The Mueller Report

Quit buggin' me
I'm going to take the high road here and just say that I wish this was all kept quiet until its truly wrapped up to every(normal)ones satisfaction and all questions from relevant committees are addressed. This is their job and we should let them do it properly. Very few of the people up there are idiots and most came in from accomplished professional careers. A lot were lawyers or prosecutors, they know what they are doing despite how we feel about them.
Just to be clear - Are you talking about the federal government of the United States of America?

good post

I'd rather put some faith in the main street media than this lying POS. When do we start demanding a code of ethics from the primary spokesperson of the administration?

You call Sarah Sanders, a working mother with children in a high stress job to the POTUS and you have the gall to call her a POS, you are a nasty little man. What would you do if someone called your wife, mother or sister a POS. You take this political stuff way to serious, lighten up, its a sign forum.

My wife isn't lying to the public on a daily basis from a position of great authority and influence. She signed up for the job, she has to own the lies she tells and the compulsive liar she covers for everyday.

I'll be happy to give her husband my address and he can come talk to me about it. In the meantime, I'd worry more about any lines you might cross here.

I'm also not the one creating cartoons, posts and memes that depict violence being committed against a fellow member here, so you and your little cabal can take your hypocrisy and false moral superiority and shove it up your arses.

Lets just be glad the there wasn't enough voter fraud to have gotten the real lying POS elected. Then we would really have had Russian collusion, and probably have sold or given them all our uranium by now and one foundation would be swimming in money after all the other collusion and special favors. We really dodged one there.

Disagreeing is fine, but calling her a POS also brings you down with the Toads... Not good.

You guys are all gonna ruin the forum with daily political talk. Shoot around some PMs of your favorite hangouts to debate this stuff where its relevant. My hands aren't clean but this is honestly going to push people away. Bust some chops and argue about something else. There's plenty of hate brewed up that can be aimed at other things besides politics and still make for a lively conversation.

Signs and politics have been joined at the hip even before the advent of social media

Sign forum from The Roman town of Pompeii preserved in metres of volcanic material following the cataclysmic eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 CE.

The late drinkers ask you to elect Marcus Cerrinius Vatia eadile. Florus ad Fructus wrote this.

Marcus Cerrinius for aedile. Some people love him, some are loved by him, I can’t stand him. - Who loathes, loves.

If integrity in life is thought to be of any use, this man, Lucretius Fronto is worthy of great honour.

Valens, you’re sleeping; you’re asleep and dreaming; wake up from your slumber and make Helvius Sabinus aedile.

If honour is bestowed on a man who lives modestly, a worthy honour should be given to this young man, Cuspius Pansa.

I ask that you elect Lucius Popidius Ampliatus and Lucius Vedius Nummianus aediles.

I beg you to elect Marcus Epidius Sabinus senior magistrate with judicial power, a most worthy young man. The venerable council is electing him. Good fortune to Clemens, venerable judge.

All the worshippers of Isis call for Cn. Helvius Sabinus as aedile.

For the health, return, and victory of Gaius Julius Phillipus, here, to his lares, Publius Cornelius Felix and Vitalis Cuspius make an offering.

All the deadbeats and Macerius ask for Vatia as aedile.

Epidius with his household want and support Cn. Helvius Sabinus as aedile.

Carlin was funny, so was Mitch Hedberg and Ralphie May..too bad so many comics are gone now..

But my all time favorite is Jim Gaffigan.. I like a comedian that I can watch without worry about my daughter being in the room

Talk to the people who START these controversial threads in the only unmoderated category and then fan the flames of the very divisiveness they SWEAR they are concerned about but do nothing to prevent.

:roflmao: my mind has been swayed. The toad has hit on all the majors points of my curiosity. I can finally say, I made the switch. I wanna become a commie socialist pig, rather than a free American, living the dream.

Normally, I would've sent the toad a case of wine, some gift cards, but he is so happy with who and what he is, I'm not gonna upset him, with cheap kindness.

Da, my comrade.

At the heart of the problem is the main street media who have abdicated any claim to just being about reporting the news of the day and being able to claim that they adhere to a code of professional ethics. Its no wonder that many place just as much belief in what they read on Facebook as what they see on CNN or Fox.
No onus off the backs of the media, there's a lot of shade being thrown on all accounts and it's a real problem. But in my opinion the real root of the problem is we, the people...if we weren't so easily manipulated the media wouldn't have a leg to stand on, essentially it's a battle over who can fool us the most and win us over to their cause(facts are irrelevant at this point), but if we were a little slower to believe any given "fact" they wouldn't have any traction. In my opinion it comes down to each and every individual that isn't doing their homework and are lulled into some BS thrown at them from any side. From a sign shop perspective, as a manager the first person I blame is myself when something goes wrong, and I take a similar mentality about the management of our society, blame myself first, see what I'm doing wrong, and once I've worked out my own issues then look to outside forces. It's OK to not know the answers at all times. But the average citizen is just believing the first thing that hits their ears, so as a result the media is racing for our attention knowing that the first one to break the story will gain the most traction with the public, regardless of any concrete data/facts. I have a lot of contacts and friends overseas and outside the US and it is common knowledge that the American people are the easiest cattle to herd. The media will inevitably utilize this for their own purposes and we can only blame them so much (like leaving a steak out for a dog and walking away, is it his fault if he eats it? He's a dog), it's up to us to do the work and sift through the BS...OR....say hell with it and build a shack on a mountain and ignore the whole thing. Not sure if I could get three phase electric for a CNC in a mountain shack though...

It's better to have two hands than one glove.
Hopefully, no one will engage with you because we see what you try to do around here.

If a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it, did it make a sound? If someone wants to ignite an argument and no one engages, is he still called the Toad?

If Helen Keller falls in a forest is there a sound?

I guess it depends if she landed in a bear trap or not. If she's yelling her hands off, I would say that is her kinda sound.

Helen Keller! bob, you are going to have 60% of the people on here googleing her name. If she did fall, she would not even hear it.

And to reply on throwing the steak to the dog analogy. We are like the dog, hungry for TV news, thats why reality shows like the Kardashians an Real Housewives Of New York is so popular, its in real time and the POTUS has a twitter account. We can't help it to watch, even though it is so bad, its good.
