  5. Font help please!

I hope you can see the photo well enough... I am looking for a font that is very similar to the metal letters that are in this photo that spell out "Beer Cave". I darkened the B to try to use whatthefont.com, but it didn't come up with anything close. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
  6. Starter Vinyl Plotter

We have a 60" Graphtec 8600. I haven't had a different brand for a plotter, but I do like the Graphtec. I don't think it's necessary to have a tech come in for set up, but that is coming from someone who has set up equipment a few times before. It's not exactly plug and play because you need to...
  7. Let's Try This Again... (sign hardware)

I posted a pic a customer sent yesterday with a sign in a frame, looking to locate the frame. I think I have narrowed it down and found something in the shop that is similar, but it is old and has no indication of where it was purchased. If anyone can help me identify and source these I would...

Ok, newbie question then.... Are you on a list to bid/set up in their system? How does that work? I.e. how can I have a better chance at being called to quote?
  10. Noodles & Co.

Hello everyone, looking for some help. We have a Noodles & Company going in near us and I am assuming they are working with a national company to manufacture the signs. I would like to bid the install. Does anyone know which National company does work for Noodles? Thanks in advance, Lauren
  11. Mylar

Does anyone have any experience with installing mylar to vehicle windshields? I just had a customer call and ask about it and I have never done anything with the material. A quick search tells me it is a protective plastic sheeting. They want to put it on their equipment windshields... Any info...
  12. Dimensioning Tool for Illy?

Looking for some feedback on dimensioning in Illustrator. I need something compatible with Illustrator CC. We have one license of CadTools and we like it, but we need a couple more licenses and they are $350, which is a lot. We don't need all the CAD capabilities either, just need to dimension...
  13. Onyx / Graphtec Print to Cut Issues with Over 8 Feet of Material

I am downloading the driver now! I talked to Onyx before you commented and told them that it was set up as a 8000 and they didn't even give me that solution. Thank you so much! My page size is at over 1000 so hopefully the driver update will help.
  14. Onyx / Graphtec Print to Cut Issues with Over 8 Feet of Material

I need some help... We have an HP Latex 360, Onyx and a Graphtec FC8600. Print to cut works fine on shorter lengths of material, however anything over 8 feet gives us trouble. We put registration marks about every 20". The plotter will start to scan the marks, and do one of 2 things - it will...
  15. Mounting Digital Media, No Lamination

We found a 6ml digital media that can be applied easily with rollers/squeegees. It costs a little more than the 3ml media, but it is less expensive than using laminate or even a layer of app tape.
