Its more than a guess on my part, but I don't know the ins and outs of this machine yet. Not sure what or where to target.
Anyone have a service manual for the RS-540/640 ???
:help
Hello All,
My new-to-me VersaArt thinks there's a left side media clamp installed at about 45 to 50 inches out and will not cut the media after its finished printing. It returns the print heads/cutting assembly (carriage assembly?) back home and displays "MEDIA CLAMPS". When the enter button is...
Looks like a loose interpretation of a simple carnival or circus font. You might want to search on that if you're looking to clean it up with a real font set, as opposed to directly copying it. Definitely hand lettered. You wont find anything exact, but you can probably find something with a...
Okay... I pulled the trigger on a 3 year old VersaArt RS-540. The shop I'm purchasing it from is within an hours drive, so I gave them a visit and watched it go through its paces. All jets on all heads are firing nicely, except maybe a half dozen jets with deflections on black. The printer has...
If this is for outside use and the primer is porous, the MDO will suck up moisture and swell. When MDO swells, it swells a lot. Primed doesn't necessarily mean sealed.
What does one look for when considering a used (3-8 year old) VersaArt/Camm or SolJet printer?
What offer would you make on a 3 year old 54" VersaArt assuming a basic setup and good maintenance history? Also assuming no part replacement since put into service.
What offer would you make on a...
Great for cleaning rigid plastic sheets too!
Using gloves is just smart. If the tool doesn't get you, a large burr on the sheet metal might. Plus, it keeps oils from your hands off of your work. The swiveled tools work best for de-burring holes.
54" desired, 30" considered.
Printing via Windows drivers desired. (Currently using Windows 7 Home Premium)
Cutting not necessary but will be considered, and nice to have.
Is currently setup or can be readily converted to use Eco Sol inks.
Hi Everyone,
Looking for opinions on Roland's lineup, new and used, of their eco-solvent printers. I was reading how VersaArt owners love their printers and it got me interested. Specs that I'd like to see are:
Under $8K (way under if possible  ).
54" is big enough. 30" is even big...
I'm going to start a new thread in here with a different direction. I find I'm being discouraged, by individuals and information (and lack of information), away from Sepiax ink, and my volume and available space is not enough to justify a flatbed. I've started looking at Roland eco-solvent...
Hi Bkaupp,
Yup... Ontario Specialty Coatings... it's who I was getting my pre-coated coroplast from. They still sell the InkAid that you're speaking of. I've coated my own a few times when I was running low on my pre-coated stock. It proved to be a bit time consuming, plus I don't have the...
Isn't "small cheap flatbed" something like a triple oxymoron?
I know what you're saying though, and i search high and low for that deal of the century. this is a part-time thing for me.
