Its not wet...just vertical tonal banding and relatively evenly spaced? Like a soft wave effect? Encoder strip then data/trailing Cable would be my next try at this...if those don't do it even the motor would need to be looked at..

Since we are Adobe based here...we use Illustrator with Cutting Master 4 for our graptech. Only issue is the compatibility with latest update of Illustrator it seems. Had to roll that one back for time being.

I use Clearshield by Marabu here. Great for just rolling on with a tight nap paint roller. Dries pretty quickly with low odor for the waterbased products....semi-gloss and matte. Doesn't re-activate the latex inks unless you really start scrubbing the roller down onto the print. Works so/so...

Thats good...looks like they caught up with Apple then. Im not going to any different processors anytime soon...sticking with my Intel workhorses here. 10% speed increase....sounds good to me!

I have not heard anything from Caldera about M1 compatibility yet. Not a concern right now...still running intel mac pro's here & I know Caldera won't phase out support for them for a long time.

Huge fan of Caldera V14. Love it. Easy to use and plenty of features for Ripping, contour cutting and Routing. Makes single and double sided printing a snap as well.

The KM is a rebranded DILI machine similar to our AGFA. I doubt it can do braille signs well. You can double or triple hit the ink....but not sure it would build up enough and be cost effective enough for what you are looking for.

We've used it a bunch of times and never had an issue with it wanting to rip like that. We always lam our prints anyway....so maybe that has avoided any issues.

Whenever we see that...we bounce the roll back to our vendor. Sucks that 3m charges as much as they do...and you get that.

We have a mural in our office with it....we get ours from QMLS in CT. Very stable and easy to apply. Goes thru the big latex and UV printers well...so/so on the small format latex with the heat and all.

I forgot about easy dot! Whether its Seal or another MFR....that stuff is great for walls.

Bad substrate. Just had the same issue with 180 CV3 36 inch roll.

Nikkalite? Not sure about 54 inch on that though....thinking only 48.
