  1. Question Has anyone tried 3M IJ175CV3 ?

Arlon is nice...and I was on a call about the SLX+ this morning with my rep and he said the tack is increasing on it vs the SLX. Im awaiting a sample roll in the near future.
  2. Need Help Latex 570 print head status plot

Looks similar to an issue we have on our UV printer once in a while.
  3. Question Any Ideas of which Vinyl and Lam?

40c is a Controltak product. Always has that imprinted on the back. 3647 is the 19 mil laminate...3645 is 8mil thick.
  4. Keeping those fingerprints off vinyl media?

One wrap of IJ 35 for example is 12 inches roughly. With the small latex, we feed just beyond the heater door so the media doesn't get jammed up in there anyway. Just enough to put a spring loaded clamp for some weight or to get it onto a take-up.
  5. Keeping those fingerprints off vinyl media?

I cradle the rolls in my arm and put one home on the right side of our small latex then work the 2nd side in. Like others have stated, just let that first wrap overhang and you dont have the fingerprint issue really. Even that little bit isn't a big deal on most printers....typically you need...
  6. Need Help Setting up profile cutlines for Graphtec cutter, printed using rasterlink

Stick with Ai then. You can set up your marks there....segmented or normal corners. Just make sure you're not on the LATEST version of CC 2021....Cutting Master does not work in the latest upgrade.
  7. Question Any Ideas of which Vinyl and Lam?

I would say IJ39 on that and not the IJ35. Theres no air egress pattern there. As for the lam, that looks more like a standard pebble type of floor finish on it. 3645 has a different texture on it.
  8. Cloudy splotches in 3M 8518 gloss lam

We have that issue once in a while with 8518 and file a claim with our vendor to let them deal with it. Sucks when you loose prints because of crap like that. The time and effort cannot be recouped.

  15. Need Help Who Prints Color/White/Color onto Translucent White Vinyl?

The uv ink with the day night is really nice. Just did a pair of faces for someone and they look really nice after being laminated.... Cant wait to see some pics installed.
  16. Need Help Who Prints Color/White/Color onto Translucent White Vinyl?

Its actually not printed on both sides but rather on clear SAV. Its printed in line, one side in 3 layers. The first image is technically your "density print". The next layer of white is your translucent/diffuser layer and the top layer is your color correct layer. Instead of a double hit...
  17. Windshield Window Decals

We have the white ink capability for that with our UV Press. Clear low tac or cling...no biggie. Reach out if you want...

  19. Need Help Who Prints Color/White/Color onto Translucent White Vinyl?

We do work like this every couple days on our UV Printer. A HELL of a lot faster than 2 sq meters/Hr.
  20. Good morning...from Texas

They should be called Suburban Assault Vehicles for those who have them just to have 'em. Also a woodburning stove might be a good idea.
