We use our colex table for cutting loads of stickers if we have the time. Kiss cut then... If they need to be singles...only way to go. Otherwise we will cut on the graphtec and ship rolls if the client is ok with that.

My suggestion to him was adding a reinforcement to the hem. Not necessarily a webbing but even adding an 18oz backer to the hem...3 total layers would be great for preventing grommet rip-out.

We run 3 latex machines...never really heard any complaints from clients about color shifts..etc column to column when tiling. We calibrate regularly so that helps. We're in NJ...if you looking for outsource, we're not terribly far!

Likely pre heat....media isn't warm enough getting to your print area. If you have a pre & print....bring them up incrementally to test. We used to run into the same problem with our old Vutek solvent printers with pre and print area heat being too low.

Wet ink. Turn your heat up possibly and or check your max ink setting within your software.

Its bad. We had same issue with GF High Tac in some instances where the roll sat at the warehouse forever and gets to us and same issue. UV prints fine but Latex goes to hell.

Agfa inks stick very well to Coroplast and 99% of substrates for us. We have issues with Polycarbonate and some other other low dyne factor substrates.

We used to have Vutek printers with Mercury Vapor UV Lamps...they wore out over time similar to the HP's mentioned above. The lamps dont go bad, they wear out over time. The wavelength generated to Cure the inks degrade and dont cure as well. Its not a heat process but a hardening process...

Check your max ink in your rip software. If you have the ability to limit to CMYK only...avoid using Lc Lm if you can. Even on So/so coroplast we have had good luck from day one of our UV printer experience.
