I just heard back from the company i got the dx4 print head from, about getting the heads code. I got it from China, he said there is no code that they don't need a code. He also said that no one has ever asked for a code before. Does this sound right? will it still run fine with out the code?

I can get it to print jobs. I just had to do some fine printing is when i realized that the alignment was off. I have checked all cables and that doesn't seem to be the problem.

I have had the print head out and the 2 cables disconected since the 1st time it did the error. i put it all back together and still same problem.

Once i hit enter at #head adjust i get the error

The new print head didn't have any numbers. I pulled head out earlier today once i saw to enter new head number. Didn't see new number on the black tab at the back.

The manual has errors and explains what they mean but i jumps from error 35 up to 40. Tryed googling it and have no success.

I am trying to align a new black print head and when i try to go into #Head Adjust i am getting an error 37 head position. Anyone had this problem before? If so any help would be great. Thanks

I could use the head alignment guide. new black head in jv3 about 1/32" off of rest of colors.

so i just got new dampers, capping station, and wiper. I have YMC are fine and still can't get black in the process of pulling the black head i broke off the nipple that goes in the damper, of 1 of the blacks. once out i noticed the other 1 is cracked...

We seem to run in to clients that have these great ideas to standout and have an amazing sign and when we give them a price, they fall over and think it should be about 10% of that price. We find that with a budget we can design and provide a sign to fit that budget. Just what i have noticed.

We do this all the time. We use 1 1/2" TEC banner tape from fellers. i put a 1" overlap and put tape on back side of the top piece. then line up the design and use masking tape to hold it in place and start on one end and pull backer off tape and stick it down. We have had seemed banner with...

i would do it dry, center hinge work from middle to the side and squeege center up and down as i work out to sides.

i unhooked the cyan above the pump and sucked ink through there, it went a little bit before was hard to pull and had been filled with cyan ink. i pulled the whole black capping station out hose and all and checked for any cracks in hose and pulled off rubber cap and cleaned and reinstalled it...

I swaped the dampers on the head did 1-1 and 2-2 to 1-2 and 2-1. it was still the same half working, and not working.

OK, i am back. any ideas what else to try? artbot- how do i check the data swap?

ok, i got to the pump and took a syringe and hooked it up to the line off the capping station and i can hear it pulling air through the lines but am only getting a few drops of ink each time and unhook the syringe to get air out and pull through the line again. doesn't seem to be pulling ink...
