  1. HELP!!! Looking for something, but have absolutely ZERO idea what it is called...

I'm currently doing some rather large light box faces for a client that purchased a sponsoring agreement with a local amphitheater. They are asking that the faces be completely pitch black during the day, and when the box is turned on at night you can see the image nice and clear. Which my...
  2. Foamboard and Grommets

Use long shank grommets and watch your depth to make sure you're not crushing the foamcore, we do it all the time.
  3. So Just how fast IS your Plotter...Really!

I keep my graphtec at 60 for just about everything. I've gone up to 80 a few times but 60 is just fine for what we need. The key is to pre-feed your vinyl so that the motor isn't pulling on that heavy roll while its cutting. If you are using Cutting Master, there is a button that will pre-feed...
  4. Error 14:10:00, machine wiggles?

It's supposed to wiggle, that is by design. HP's have wiggled for over a decade going back to the 5000 series of printers.
  5. labels2trade.com

I can log in too, but there's no pricing. I called, and I was told this is the current status. The piece of equipment they purchased for labels2trade.com was taken back by the equipment manufacturer because they couldn't keep it running and operational, effectively shutting down...

labels2trade.com is officially closed as of last Friday. I just got off the phone with Keith and he explained to me that portion of the business is done. signs2trade.com however is still fully functional.

LHF Convecta Base is pretty close.
  8. Need some info on the HP 26500.

Yes, the heaters dry and cure the ink. Sometimes you can actually see the water evaporating in the machine.
  9. Cutting through thick material.

Wrap the laminated print, with the print side out around an empty 3" core for a few hours, or even over night to retrain it to bend the opposite way. We do it all the time with die cut prints.
  10. cutmaster 3

The firmware on the plotter has to be updated to use CM3.
  11. Cutting Master 3 is out! It is totally awesome.

Exactly. With my luck, I'd upgrade and everything would go wrong.
  12. Cutting Master 3 is out! It is totally awesome.

It wants me to upgrade the firmware on my plotter. Everything is working perfectly with CM2, I think I'll pass on this for now.
  13. Printable engine turn vinyl

I have a turned gold pattern that we use to print for a local fire department. Naturally it doesn't have the same visual properties that a true turned gold does, but it does look good. It's 10mb but I could email it to you if you'd like.
  14. Looking for ADA and Title 24 signs

Is there a merchant member here that has an inventory of ADA and Title 24 signs currently? I'm in a pinch and need some restroom signs overnighted to me. Please let me know! Thanks, Will

  17. Who makes this sign and where do I buy it?

I have a customer that is requesting a very large quantity of the sign in the attachment, and I have no clue on where to find it. Can anybody shoot me in the right direction on where to procure these? Thanks!
  18. Wierd error message - UGH!!!!

Unplugging it for 20 minutes seemed to do the trick.
  19. Wierd error message - UGH!!!!

I know this is old, but this exact problem is happening to me right now, and resetting up the cutter in CM2 didn't do anything. I currently have the plotter unplugged to see if I can clear it out that way. If anybody else has an idea on how to fix this I'd love to hear it. Also, we have our...
  20. Finding it hard to cut this decal

In Illy, just copy the artwork layer and then turn off your original layer or lock it, merge everything together, go object> path> offset path> set the distance (bleed) you want and then change it from a fill to a stroke.
