Are you actually using formed letters or are you using cut acrylic letters? If you're using formed letters (hollow backs), you'll need to stud-mount. Brad covered the install method pretty well. If you're using cut acrylic (looks nicer, in my opinion), you could tape-mount along with Lexel...

So Leech doesn't recommend ANY of their products for acrylic but the CUSTOMER :rolleyes: is recommending what to use? If he's just worried about the brick being drilled and the brick is smooth/even enough, you can tape-mount them along with Lexel. It will hold. If that doesn't work for him...

Broken record here, but Lexel would work well if you give it time to fully cure.

No offense taken! Wasn't sure how large your jobs were. The full coverage method can be done with the super thin VHB tape as well.

Yeah, it's definitely expensive, but for some of these companies that are completely filling multiple 4x8 sheets with nested letters/pieces on a regular basis, it's not even a question...its hands down the best approach.

I guess it depends on what the OP's version of 'doing a lot' means. If it's truly a large amount, the pieces can be nested within a section of the material, full coverage tape can be applied, and the letters can then be cut out resulting in already-applied full coverage application of the tape...

Mask the entire back of the sheet with VHB tape prior to cutting everything out.
