I don't think you will get the opacity that you need using the latex but it's worth a try. Id buy a sample roll of something. Epson carry's a clear film
what printer? They are a flat fee on the 300 series latex, $1500. If its for an FB Scitex, well that model has been discontinued and they don't offer support directly. You are located in NY. Connect with a regional company that offers service, try Diversified Display out of Hillside NJ. they...
are you pressing rigid or fabric. If rigid you should be taping transfer to product on one side. The craft paper you place on top should hold everything from moving when opening but you do want to remove quickly. If yo are talking fabric, then I would suggest you buy epson's transfer paper that...
When you say clean, are you saying physically with solution and swab or are you talking about an air purge? Air purge of some kind is normal when a printer rests for an extended period of time. If you have to physically clean your printer every morning for the lm and lc head, Id have your tech...
so if this is a recent issue, make sure the tube from the ink box does not have a kink. Before connecting new box to printer make sure you prime the filter on the end of that line. Paper towel in hand, pride the white plunger while putting pressure on bag. Once you get a drop of ink you can plug...
If you are not using it everyday I would avoid UV Cure. Look at an HP R1000. maybe grab a demo unit or a good used unit.(only because of your frequency of use) I've had one for 4 years and have had to replace a $185 pip. The HP will allow you to change your own heads and be a horse when you need...
Its not the product its the profile. More specifically the temps associated with the profile. Make a new profile from scratch, ink density may need to be cut back to 90-95, increase passcode and lower your temp. You own a 365 and 560 for one reason...make your own profiles. That iOne attached to...
so number one make sure the fans in the top of the unit are all working and not covered in ink. The UV lamp filters have to be changed. The halogen lamps have to breathe or they will fail prematurely. How is the IQ? Is small text sharp? Without seeing the printer, Im thinking your carriage...
typically you replace the hdd anytime you replace the mother board. They ship together in the same box. Newer mother boards may not require the double replacement. Depends on what HP has in stock
so it could be screen, motherboard or HDD. remove side cover connect normal computer monitor in its place. If you get an image then it is the screen if you get nothing its the motherboard/hdd. I may have a new unopened one if you find yourself in a pinch. We no longer have the printer.
This platform was designed for paneled wall coverings along with "normal" sign needs. No reason to send individually. If your heads are failing prematurely, HP will replace for free. I personally would have onyx submit tiles as individual pages then have it "auto print" from the rip queue. Now...
I'd steer you toward the s40 before the s60(more profiles available and cheaper price point. You can almost double up on s40's for the price of one s60. If you go One, get the M. Buy it with the options you need, speed white etc...But these two platforms have a huge price difference.
Although Signs101 is a great forum, I absolutely agree you need to get your reseller's tech or an HP tech onsite for this problem. Before you do any of that, what is the weight of your 100' rolls? The max weight according to the printer's spreadsheet is 121lbs. If you.are over, follow JBurton's...
