Perf cutting is the blade thing in deep, when it goes around a sharp corner of lifts the vinyl to as it lifts. A .2" offset cut makes the cut not as intricate. You still kid cut to the start shape, then the perf cut has more room to work with. And if it lifts the perf cut... It doesn't affect...

Use the perf channel, but don't use the cut line setting. As well turn on tsngential - there's node 1 and 2... I use node 2 and fkrnsharo corners like this it works perfectly. For a star, I'd turn on overcut as well if I were still having issues... That way it'll start the cut before the tick...

A laser is nice to have for many projects, so I'd still recommend getting one - But you won't beat a jig - a T shape like you mentioned would work. It's much much faster to just hold the jig and plop a new frame down vs moving your laser and measuring how far over each picture needs to go...

Perf cut instead of cross and you can have a really nice smooth cut. My perf cuts on graphtec look like flatbed cuts.... The trick is new blades. I swap my blade daily.... But I also use cheap Chinese blades I get for under a buck. Paper will dull a knife faster than anything, so perf...
