  1. Ink not drying fast enough

Hi Guys, I have a jv150 for the last 2 or 3 years...upgraded from my jv130spll. In the older printer my heat settings were about 45 pre and 40 print...the new printer's profiles (from Flexi) had much higher heat settings and basically from about a week in I lowered them with good results...
  2. What causes those nasty email returns?

You could be right...always happens when sending invoices primarily lol
  3. pdf files coming in as complete bitmaps...but they are vectored!!

Not sure what an "ini" file is.... but in the last year or so if I even try to import a tif file the program completely shuts down.... I am still running win 7 on this comp for fear that something will stop working if I upgrade.
  4. What causes those nasty email returns?

    Wastes so much time
  5. What causes those nasty email returns?

I have never figured out why the same companies I send emails to always seem to go through phases where my emails get bounced back. I then have to go into a gmail account to resend the invoices and they do go through. Is there something wrong with sending from Outlook?
  6. pdf files coming in as complete bitmaps...but they are vectored!!

...or just do all the work in Flexi lol.
  7. pdf files coming in as complete bitmaps...but they are vectored!!

This seems to be something new that is happening with PDF files. Not all of them but if there is so much as any part of the file as a bitmap with vectored graphics, Signlab gives me no other options other than to import them as a complete bitmap. If I send the file over to Flexi, I can open them...

  11. Need Help Summa D160R - cut drifts off over long cuts

  12. Powerpoint files... Can we use them?..Is there a way to use them?

Oh I won't be giving it away... I would think set up will take a few hours...many graphs and charts plus paper holders and they want it on a metal surface with dry erase 4 x 8...9 of them... Big money!!!
  13. Powerpoint files... Can we use them?..Is there a way to use them?

Upon further inspection it is made from a bunch of low res bitmaps...Looks like I need to redraw all of it Thanks
  14. Powerpoint files... Can we use them?..Is there a way to use them?

Just received a file in Power Point and it is loaded with a lot of graphics. I cringe thinking that I have to recreate everything. Is there a way through Flexi or Signlab to actually be able to use files like this?
  15. How to create richer colours in Flexi and how to ake it applicable to all prints

WEll this is my screen printer who is very limited in his knowledge of computers in general. I gave him my old jv3 when I got my new Mimaki and after a while he dicided to buy a new one like mine, but it was discontiued. I don't know why he did not consult with me before getting that machine...
  16. People asking for logos...I'm getting irritated

I just send what they need and make a mental note that the next order will have an extra charge thrown in somewhere. Not worth the headache, fights or lost account that can ensue
  17. Had a dream with Gino in it last night...

    That was no DREAM!!!
  18. Mimaki printer stops printing in the middle of the job...no warning from the printer or software

I have no power savings set so it stays on with no screen savers running. I think it is a glitch in communication as neither the printer or the software show any errors at the time. It has run flawlessy since then, so it is not something that happens too often...just enough to make you crazy lol
