  1. NEED HELP - GFP 355TH Laminator

Too far away for me to go fetch. Dang it.
  2. Mutoh 1624x Printing problems

Need some answers first. Was the printer in storage or sitting without use for a long time? If so everything in the ink train is probably clogged/dryed. Time to figure out if it's worth saving. I would say no, since a new Xpert Jet is around 10 grand delivered. Was the printer in continuous...
  3. Suggestions Smoothest and whitest printing vinyl in cast?

Yes, it should probably be changed.
  4. Suggestions Smoothest and whitest printing vinyl in cast?

Seems no one lists white point of vinyl. I'd get samples from different manufacturers and measure white point with a spectro.
  5. Substrate question

If you're worried about wind load then fuse two 6mm ACM together with panel bond. If that isn't enough then weld a perimeter frame with internal stringers then panel bond 6mm ACM faces to that. If that still isn't strong enough you can always shoot stock car panel rivets through the perimeter...

    :welcome: back.
  7. S60600 Horizontal Banding "lawn mower banding"

Time to find a new tech that can figure out your printer. Your Epson should have zero issues printing solid colors. Printed a full wrap on a 38' trailer with my Mutoh using Arlon SLX+. Installer said the solid colors look like cut vinyl. You may want to try the SLX+. It is what I use and...
  8. Production manager help

Actually it's dead simple. When the tech installed my new printer he had it and the plotter working in about ten minutes. I told him it can't be that simple there's supposed to be all kinds of set up, sub net masks, ports, incantations and swearing. He laughed and said nope they're all this easy.
  9. Mitsubishi Express Van 2022 - how to remove handles before wrapping?

You may not want to mess with it. Some door handles are a PITA to remove and nearly impossible to reinstall.
  10. Anybody use Mac?

Looks like it does now, but I'm not doing the subscription thing. I bought Flexi Pro with my last printer.
  11. CE or FC

  14. Yeti SmartBench

Not at this time. We're scouting property for our "forever" home/workshop. It would be great if you could post updates on what type of projects you're doing with yours.
  15. US Air Force Blue Vinyl

Might be a custom color that only they have access too. Best bet would be to get the RGB or Lab values and print it on a properly profiled system.
  16. Odyssey boat logo

Boom!! For stuff like this I do a quick search. If I can't quickly find what I need I recreate it. The time wasted searching or posting for help could have produced the artwork. That logo and lettering should take about 10 minutes to have it dialed. If you're not fluent in...
  17. Need Help Help Finding Background Image

Might take a peek at CreativeMarket.com
  18. new question

I agree with notarealsignguy. SLX+ with 3220 works well. Small lettering/bits not so much.
  19. Arlon SLX+ / 3210 Stretching / Plastic adhesion

SLX+/3220 lam. Recently did a full wrap on a beer trailer, 38' with roll up doors. I asked the installer how it compared with 6000xrp/3220. He said there is no comparison. "The challenging areas where I would have to heat and force the material the SLX+ just goes in and stays." This was a...
  20. MULTICAM - manuf prob

Todays Insignifica: Blower is technically correct even when producing vacuum. Engineering spec'ed out ring blowers for the zero speed pasters I used to build. If I can remember the brand name I will post it. They were made to run 24/7/365. Zero help for the OP's current situation though.
