  1. Need Help Need help identifying this one

Thanks so much, Tiki. Have a great weekend.
  2. Need Help Need help identifying this one

One of our clients needs a bunch of PVC signs with vinyl lettering like the one shown. The font looks like Helvetica Condensed, but you might notice the angle on the bottom stroke of the E that terminates with a slight angle. I redrew the E and the 1 and I've still had no luck trying to match...
  3. Shout out to Fire Sprints & their awesome "Fast & Free" coro deal.

We love FireSprint, and use them as much as possible. Super cool people with great quality, service, and prices.
  4. Printing prices

Yeah, because as I mentioned, we would charge additional for trimming and for 32 individual prints, that would have to be at least a $100 up-charge. When I said I would charge a little extra for trimming, that was pertaining specifically to four prints. I would charge a lot extra for trimming 32...
  5. Living Wall Sign?

    Can't wait to see pics.
  6. Printing prices

We price our prints in six increments. 1-11, 12-31, 32-59, 60-99, 100-199, and 200+ sq. ft. Prices for calendered start at $11.25 per sq. ft. and go as low as $5.75 per sq. ft. Prices for cast start at $13.50 per sq. ft. and go as low as $7.00 per sq. ft. You can kind of fill in the blanks...
  7. Question Air channel vs not

For cheap stickers we switched over to air release about a year ago. It doesn't cost much more and I figure it's easier to apply. Stickers are stickers and most people aren't going to apply them wet, they just want to stick them on their car window, guitar case, notebook, or whatever.
  8. Graphix Gone on BBQ?

I can't imagine there's any down side to this, since you're not applying it to food prep surfaces. I use RapidPrep as a degreaser and bug, tar, and poo remover before washing and detailing my car and I've found it works great, possibly as well or better than some automotive specific products.
  9. Need Help I suck at Photoshop...please help me

The way I see it, this basically boils down to a question of what is a layout and what is an actual piece of intellectual property. First off, we don't even know what the layout of this sign even encompasses, because the entire image was not shown, only the relevant portion with a photo of a...
  10. Printing on color vinyl.

Yeah, we just sat through Grimco's 3M virtual trade show demos yesterday and they were talking about the protective covering on the new 2080 and it has me thinking I may just have to print on Orajet 970RA instead because removing that film and not contaminating the surface or kinking the film...
  11. Printing on color vinyl.

I love printing on 3M 1080 (soon to be 2080) white aluminum metallic or Orafol 970RA silver metallic.
  12. Suggestions Chrome for cut vinyl truck lettering - anything new?

The truck photos I found were from 20 feet away so they don't do the product much justice, but I took these pics this morning to show a comparison. I don't even have to explain which is which. It's like a night and day difference.

  14. Suggestions Chrome for cut vinyl truck lettering - anything new?

We offer our customers two options... Griff Polychrome. Reasonable chrome appearance with an orange peel texture. This is a polyester chrome film for use on flat surfaces only. Durability is rated at 5 years. Costs less than most cast vinyl, so it's a nice option for economy applications. We...
  15. Need Help Need help with Rolls Roller Flatbed application

We run our RollsRoller 280/145 at .5 MPa on the pressure gauge (about half the maximum output pressure) and get very good results when laminating cast or calendered films. The only time I get results like what you're getting is if I turn the pressure down to mount prints on coroplast (around 2-3...
  16. 6mm ACM or 5mm AlumaCorr?

I'll pass. I have almost enough work for two of me.
  17. 6mm ACM or 5mm AlumaCorr?

I agree. Paint would be so much nicer and far more elegant, but I guess I shouldn't assume they're not painting them. They very well may paint them eventually and are perhaps just letting the posts weather a bit first, which never hurts. I guess time will tell.
  18. 6mm ACM or 5mm AlumaCorr?

EDIT: Oops! I was scrolling through and reading so fast I completely misunderstood what you said. For some reason I thought you were referring to the ball diamond incorporated into the design. Yes, it's double sided.
