We bought a RollsRoller 280/145 Entry (roughly 109" x 56") and it's been a great investment for both laminating prints and mounting to substrate. However, we don't do wraps so I can't speak on that. While I'd imagine the RollsRoller could laminate wrap panels easily enough, I'd think a standard...
One bit of advice I can give is to always look for better logos online before doing any work. I don't know how many times I'll get a scanned business card or other crap files as a 'logo file' and a quick Google search or search for the business on Facebook will turn up much better higher...
Well, if nothing else, at least I have one reason to be thankful that I live in Illinois. The worst problems we encounter here is clay loam, tree roots, and maybe an occasional buried brick.
We started with Mimaki SS21 inks on our CJV 150-130 and then switched over to Bordeaux MS33 inks (exact replacement for SS21) after the warranty expired about 2 years ago and we've had no issues to speak of. If you do go with aftermarket inks, I would strongly recommend Bordeaux and there is...
This Avery Dennison chrome delete material that you mention is cast material, SW900 to be exact. Putting calendered over cast is a big no no. You'd better find an excuse to reschedule this job and order the right vinyl or you'll wish you'd done this right the first time.
Good luck. You're gonna...
We get ours from Grimco, the boxes say Made in the USA on them, and we never get customer complaints about them. We buy in bulk to save money and I'm honestly not sure what we're currently paying for them but I wanna say they are around $.60 a piece if we buy a couple hundred or more at a time.
If it was the first yard or two of material on a fresh roll of media, you'll almost always have that with Orafol print media unless you wipe the first yard or two down with alcohol and let it dry good. At least this has always been my experience with the 3651 and 3951 series. I don't know if...
I use a digital level from Craftsman . I have the 1 foot and 2 foot models. Just hit the zero button and it calibrates to any surface you want to work off of for reference.
The problem with that for me is I often install on site and can be forced to work in a tighter space than usual, making it difficult, if not impossible to step back and check your work.
In my experience, heavy cleaning can show worse test prints than not cleaning at all. Have you tried to print anything? I would do another test print, then print a large full color print on some cheap media and do another test print afterward to see if the nozzles slowly start coming back...
Unless you're just wanting to learn the process of creating these from scratch, a quick reverse image search can go a long way. Tineye found this image here as well as on forty three other web pages...
I'm a little late on this conversation, but I would have definitely went with the DualView quoted at about $10 a sq. ft or maybe a little less for a decent sized job, and had Signs365 drop ship it right to the customer. I embrace opportunities that are financially lucrative yet involve very...
Busy, busy. Can't complain. It's been harder than usual trying to catch up on jobs before we go into our three week seasonal shut down mode and we just bought two brand new company vehicles as a tax write off so yeah, business is pretty good.
