We've been dealing directly with the graphtec engineers, not just their support techs.
They ruled out wheels / frictions / and a slew of other things - if it were wheels or not feeding straight, the cuts would not complete - which isn't the case. The. It's are always perfectly aligned...
Sadly its not an easy fix!
I'm one of the ones having issues with the FC9000 cutting off. Mine doesnt go off much... but its nowhere near as accurate as the 8600.
The first row will be fine, then it'll slightly shift - so small stickers are an issue... but anything big is ok / accurate...
You'd think.... However a lot of stuff is made with American in mind.
All of our air hoses and a lot of our fittings are in Imperial even though Canada is a metric company. Almost everything I buy from our suppliers is measured in feet and in pounds. To be honest I'm more comfortable working...
Isn't it just .25" tubing? We picked a roll up from home Depot for our cet flatbed.
As for the connectors... That I can't help you, but I'm sure it's probably just some standard connector you could pick up as well. Bring a hose / connector into home Depot and ask, and I'm sure they can point...
I think it was sticker giant (?) That uses graphtecs. Like a dozen of them.
Roll to roll cutters are faster than flatbed for stickers, since you can buy 10 for the price of one flatbed.
I get really crisp edges on my graphtec - the key is the right pressure as well as a sharp blade. For perf...
How long after printing are you doing the install?
We find solvent inks make the material gummy, even after the recommended offgass time it's still a bit gumny....
But if you're printing, then laminating right away, then installing all the chemicals get trapped in the glue and can cause your...
Temu is a Chinese company. And they ship from China. So it takes 2-3 weeks for stuff to arrive.. and most of the time it's cheap crap.
I've used them, just know what you're getting into when buying it!
The naga / Corsair saves it on board.
They also all backup to the cloud now, so you just have to install the program to import if you move comps a lot and have a lot of things setup.
I've used all 3 - all 3 work with any program in macro mode. Everything I want to do has a hotkey, or can be...
Yeah, there is no required specs.
It's why you always see mini vans pulling people over on the highway - they can have ghost cars or whatever they like.
The latest trend for the ones we do is black reflective (bareilly reflects!) On black. Vehicles so they're bareilly noticeable, but still...
If I pay my mechanic to diagnose, I expect them to diagnose. If I pay them to replace a part.... I don't expect them to diagnose it for free as well, just to swap out the part I paid then to swap out. And if it didn't work I wouldn't blame them.... Or expect them to do the next repair for...
I'd say it's more like me calling up the mechanic, saying I need a fuel pump because my car won't start, have him order one in and tow my car to his shop, only to find out after he's is talked it, that the fuel pump was fine and it was a dead battery.... And ask him to forgoe the 5 hours it took...
I work with a Graphics artist who does car shows and stuff - He usually buys his posters and stuff from me, and I give him a good deal because I work with him.
So he had 150 posters... he gave me art on thursday and needed them on Friday. So I get home after work to print them... I was up...
That doesn't mean it didnt go bad.
We replaced 6 heads at once, all brand new - It worked for an hour and then every head had an error saying it couldnt read it. We put in new heads (1 at a time) And everytime we did, the printer read the new heads - it's like it has a blacklist system that...
We had this happen.
The heads are bad. We got 2 new white heads and it worked fine after that.
Not sure why the heads went bad, I think we used them a month prior - we don't print white often.
It sucked having to buy $400 of heads to print one job... But we've been using the new heads for...
There's lots of keyboards with programmable buttons.
Look for " g keys" a bit more expensive, but not a seperate keyboard.
There's also naga mice, which I think is better for photoshop / etc as you can swap buttons with just your thumb, if you like the kB you may love the mouse. Corsair...
I don't even live in America and got a signs365 account using a Po box in USA.
I always hear about how hard it is to get an acct at wholesalers, funny enough the only "hard" place was Grimco.... And as soon as I inquired about buying a printer / laminator / graphtec my account was approved...
A torch gets to the temp you need it to almost instantly.. A heat gun takes 20-30 seconds to heat up then like 10 seconds to warm up the vinyl.
A torch is more dangerous because of how hot it gets and how fast it gets that hot, so you can screw up vinyl easier - but once you're used to it, it...
I hate subscription as well.
But I wish for onyx I went subscription....
$100 a month sucks. But we paid $3500 for onyx - Thats 3 years worth of payments.... In the past 3 years we paid 1K or something to upgrade to the newest version twice, so almost another 2 years of payments because we...
