We are ASI but also have 3 sales reps entering several outsource jobs a day each. I'd think it wouldn't make sense for your current volume to make that investment.
We had a bear of a time installing it on a new Windblows 10 machine, I have to launch it using the "run as admin" function just to get it to launch. It does do a much better job of handling files with transparencies. Unfortuanley it will only support 1 of our 2 Rolands so......
VersaWorks Dual does a much better job interpolating PDFs, if you can't run dual and there is no cut paths to contend with I'd just export a 150dpi tiff file as VersWorls chews right thru tiffs no prob.

Looking to add an installer to our team. Need someone to assist with Vehicle Wraps (Private & Fleet) and Spot graphic installations as well as Banner / Simple sign builds. We produce the fore mentioned as well as decals, banner stands etc.
Feel free to PM if interested or know of anyone in the...
What banner material? I've found the XR to be picky on banner. I've switched to solely 18 DS Pole banner, Strong vac and haven't had an issue since. Might sound a little crazy but it more than makes itself up when we don't loose a 30' on the second side over and over again.
8519 is our go to match for IJ180, have never used heat so cannot speak to whether that would have an affect but I'd doubt it would cause your vinyl to become brittle.
IJ180 is normally pretty pliable, it being stiff sounds like something is wrong before you've even started application. What lam and why the heat assist? How was the vehicle prepped? Tearing just from snapping back is not common for IJ180.
We are a muliple EcoSolvent shop, there are many great points made for both Latex and EcoSolvent and against both. We will be switching all together or adding latex machines at some point as our turnover time demands a quicker thruput.
